skelaxin for menstrual cramps

5 hrs after eating junk food my legs and feet start fasiculating, then i know im in trouble about 20 min after that i start with severe leg cramps. it will be calves, anterior and lateral and of course posterior aspects of lower legs and sometimes up the interior aspect up my mostly right thigh, you talk about pain full it is a 10 on the rictor scale. sometimes my toes will cramp so bad i have to step on my foot with my other foot to straighten it out.

Hi about a year ago a had an injury at work that caused 2 herniated disks. I did the physical therapy for a while than realized I can do most of the pt stuff at home or at the gym. I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin.

HEY . IM 36 WEEKS & 5DAYS , HAVE ANYONE EVER EXPERIENCE MENSTRUAL LIKE CRAMPS BEFORE LABOR ?

I'm 34 weeks and having the strongest menstrual type feeling cramps ever. My Lower back is in so much pain. It's almost unbearable. Should I be concerned? Did anybody experience this before labor?

Is it normal to have slight cramps below your stomach ( almost like menstrual cramps) the first 4 weeks?

With both my daughter and this pregnancy I had quite a bit of cramping. They felt like mild (for me) menstrual cramps. My cramps usually make it very hard to even stand up. Having had previous miscarriages it was very scary to be cramping, but I talked with my doc and everything was fine and he said cramping is normal in the beginning but if you have bleeding or severe pain on one side to go to the doc.

I'm not sure what it is exactly but it's probably part of the process... I'm preggo w/my first so I have no experience to share, but I'm pretty sure cramping is very normal at the end of pregnancy as your body prepares for labor/birth. I've had occassional menstrual like cramps too and I'm not as far along as you. My doctor equates it to either BH, normal uterine cramping, or constipation or diarrea. I am having mild menstrual pains daily..I m actualy thnking of going 2 c my dr 2moro.

To me, they didn't feel any different. I was prepared for disappointment because I thought my period was about to come. I don't think every woman feels cramping during implantation, just like every woman does not experience spotting.

It might be early labor. I have read where premature labor can feel like menstrual cramps. It could also be Braxton hicks but Im not sure. If you have more than 4 cramps an hour, you should call your OB ASAP. That is what the OB nurse told me on Friday when I was having contractions showing on the monitor, although I didn't feel them.

i currently take flexiril, i dont think its addicting at all, i actually think it helps alot with withdrawals all the rls and muscle cramps yunno, i was prescribed them for a pulled muscle in my back and they seem to work pretty good

I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.

When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.

I have been having menstrual like cramps as well and am almost 37 weeks. They come and go, not constant.. hard to really time. At my last appt i mentioned it to my ob and she said if I was able to go back to sleep and I couldn't time them they were most likely braxton hicks.

How far along are you? At 30wks I went to dr & hospital for having really bad cramps & back pain and I ended up getting monitored all day & they said I was having uterine irritability (mini contractions) & they had to give me a preterm labor shot. They said it could've been brought on by dehydration or bacterial vaginosis (an infection I had at the time).
