I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know.
I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".
Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!
My doc just gave me Skelaxin for my back pain and said it might help. I have been trying to cut back taking hydro and I don't want to take anything that is going to make me woosey. I started into therapy last week and it is really making my back hurt. The nurosurgeon I saw said I have from L-1 to S-1 messed up and he does not think surgery would help any. So he just said take the hydro because your not taking that many (only 3 a day 7.
Felt bump and determined was musculoskeletal. Prescribed anti-inflammatory (Naproxen) and muscle relaxer (Skelaxin). Told me to take as needed (didn’t have to take the full bottle). Took prescriptions for 4 days, Skelaxin caused stomach cramping even when taken as directed. Urine test came back cloudy with high white blood cell count. Concluded was very dehydrated and sent off for tests to determine if infection was present. Also had me go in for blood tests.
I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.
I get winded at the most unexpected time when Im talking or eating or sometimes sitting in a chair I lose my voice and start coughing I cant sing anymore My arms feel weak and heavy from the shoulder down and I thought I was fine till last summer I started having weird spells they thought tia and seizures but pretty much ruled it out so I have been on synthroid and vit d for a year now I have diagnosis of hypothyroid and mild diabetes and that was before the spell s started well tia and seizu

I hope you will check out our Health Pages (located to the right of your screen). Many of the fibromyalgia experts have their treatment plans online and I posted those links. There are also pathogen killing treatments... fairly new and without controversy, but the success stories are impressive.

I was dx'ed with Fibromyalgia eight years ago and the pain has become unbearable bad.I was told lately that i may have been mis dx'ed with and i am waiting to talk to my neuro about the extreme pain i have been expereincing the last week.Do any of you get such severe pain that nothing helps with it?
I have endometriosis, fibromyalgia, IBS, and severl upper GI problems in which are not significant. I have been told that the fibromyalgia is not causing the muscle spasms/jerking or the abdominal pain.
Effect on me:
I have to rely on a walker many days. Sometimes I am unable to walk to the bathroom by myself. The spasms get so severe I end up on the tips of my toes. I have had to withdraw from school, take leave from work, and my husband has been caring for my children.
t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms)

oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer. skelaxin. this shouldn't be a problem right? found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.
Hi, I started taking ultram for multiple vehicle injuries. Ultram didn't work, they tried Tylenol3, tylenol3 didn't work they tried hydrocodone, that didn't work..so they tried percoset 5/325 6X a day. I got used to that dose now im on 7.5/325 6x a day. The more I NEED them. The more I want them. I am definitely addicted but it is not a good addiction. I get very mean, and emotionless over nothing. I go to physical therapy 3x a week. So it is all legit.
The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.

I have been taking norco for over 7 yrs for various things including fibromyalgia, well now its never enough and I take too many and keep running out. This time I have to wait 2 + weeks and my body is freaking out and I am in such pain and mental agony. Its been 4 days and still seems worse, now I have run out of my anxiety med, klonopin for sleep and am having severe withdrawls from both. Legs and arms shaking, vomiting, can't sleep, pain, and I can't say anything to the dr.
I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.
As the result of a back injury in February, I began taking Soma and 10 mgs of hydrocodone at night to help me sleep. I took no pain killers during the day, just Skelaxin. I stopped taking Skelaxin several weeks ago and am now in the process of discontinuing the Hydrocodone. I took the last Soma and 1/2 of a 5 mg tablet several nights ago. This is my second round with trying to get off this med. The problem is the insomnia or sleeplessness that occurs in the middle of the night.
ve seen say that my condition could most likely be fibromyalgia or some type of chronic neuromuscular pain, but are still perplexed at my condition. I've already seen a Rheumatologist although the pain is not in the joints, just the muscles. I have also seen my family practitioner. The pain has always affected my quality of life, I dread doing simple housework and daily activities. I feel like I can't enjoy life to it's full potential and nothing is fun.
I have taken opiates and other narcotics for my severe migraines which have never helped my fibromyalgia. But I see plenty of postings on medical websites like this one, of people with fibromyalgia who are very upset not to get the narcotics. It seems like those people must get some pain relief from them? Makes me wonder.
