Hello, I recently done a tattoo but before doing it I made a mistake by using a used disposable razor, I didn't noticed it until it was to late, I washed the razor before shaving and I didn't have any skin cuts or spilled blood by the razor but I'm worried. should I be worry or not ?
While at the health club in the locker room, I stepped and cut my foot on a used BIC disposable razor. The razor was all ready used and contained hair,dried skin and little blood drops on it that appeared dry. I have read that sharing razors can cause the spread Hep. Was I at risk for Hep? Do I need testing?
The hotel staff brought over a disposable one upon my request. Although not packaged (or sealed), the razor appeared to be new and I went ahead used it. I cut very easily when shaving and there was definitely blood from me in this instance.
My question is what is the likely possibility of contracting HIV in this (worst case) scenario if the razors were previously used by someone who had HIV? Again, the razor appeared unused (and dry) but I didn't really scrutinize it.
Is it possible for hiv to be transmitted through razor blades? A friend of mine used my razor blade and then i usedd it right after him. Maybe a five minute difference. Can hiv infect if i had a cut that bled?
Call and see what they say but I think your risk is quiet low.
when i was done with my shower i saw my friends disposable razorblade she uses in one of those razor holder tray things and her shaving cream just out in the open right next to where i was showering. I asked her about it and she said she shaved her legs when she used the shower right before me. now im worried because my erect penis could have touched the razor with blood and/or the shaving cream container that blood got in/on.
Four nights ago I cut myself really bad on my chin with a disposable razor. It was bleeding a lot and then finally stopped. The NEXT night I hooked up with a girl and she most likely kissed/licked my cut. I know the cut was still open because it bled a little bit everyday after and didnt start to scab up until last night. Well I went to get my haircut and funnily enough before my cut a nearly bald women was getting a quick touch up and touch up with a straight non disposable razor, one of the big ones. As far as I saw she didnt get cut but I cannot remember seeing the barber clean or sterilize the razor at all, maybe he did, maybe he didnt i wasnt paying attention ..
There were 2 non-electric straight razors (with disposable blades) and 1 electric razor lying on the table before me. The barber changed the blade (new) in a straight razor and gave me a shave. After that I got my hair colored, etc. (about an hour passed). The barber then picked up a razor and just used 5 strokes to tidy up my side burns. Here is the point of confusion.
So my husband and I are having the great cloth vs disposable diapers debate. There is a company where we live that will give u all the cloth diapers u need plus the diaper covers. They come to your house once a week and take all the used diapers away and resupply u with clean ones. They wash them for u and bring them back. It's 25$ a week for this service. This is our first child and we have no idea if the money is worth it, we don't know how many diapers babies normally go through.
It is better to carefully trim the hair with scissors, rather than remove it completely. If you do decided to shave, use a good quality shaving gel and a fresh disposable razor blade each time. Clinique make a good quality shaving gel and a post shave balm to prevent irritation. The electric razor has damaged your hair follicles.
So I may start treatment soon and this time I will try to do what everyone seems to be saying with regards to using disposable toothbrushes daily. My question it do you really think I should also use disposable razors daily. I have an electric razor that does not draw blood that I'm aware of anyway. So beyond those to differences in my daily routine can anyone think of anything else?
You should never, ever use the same razor on your face that you use on other body parts. If you have, toss that razor or change the blade if it's not a disposable!
This doesn't really sound like molluscum. It's a holiday weekend so probably at this point just wash the area well in the shower each day with an antibacterial soap and see how that goes. If you still have the rash monday, go and be seen.
2 I went to the barber recently and realised he uses a non-disposable razor i.e. the razor he used to trim the back of the neck and my sideburns are the same he probably used on prevous clients. i did not see him clean it in front of me, just picked it up from the table. Is there an hiv risk and would you recommend i get tested?

So I usually never use ivory soap I just use my good razors but unfortunately I ran out of heads for it so i used a disposable one... After I was done shaving, my clit was sensitive to touch and it just ended up getting worse I cant even touch it or i want to cry... Now it's swollen and I'm scared to tell my mom... I shaved my shaft and balls(sorry to be so blunt) with my face razor tonight , small scab over of a small outbreak from last week . I have a few questions. What are the transmission risk from shaving my genitals? I mean I used my face razor if I go to shave tomorrow can I spread to from my genitals to my razor to my face and get herpes on my face? Grabbing my shaft while shaving around the area can I spread it to my hands?

I am sexually inactive and only use my anus for defecation, I do, however, shave the area regularly with a manual disposable razor. Whenever I have a bowel movement, I use Huggies with shea butter to wipe the area clean. Finally, when I shower daily, I regularly wash the area with warm water and Dove soap.

two weeks ago I went to the barber shop and had a shave with a straight razor and I was told by the barber that he replaced the razor with a new disposable one prior to cutting my hair. A week later I received five little red bumps on the back and side of my calfs(spelling) that itched badly. They went away a wssk later. I didn't think anything of it. I was introduced to a girl by a family member and a close friend of hers. We hung out and got drunk. We had unprotected sex.
Im using disposable nappies with my 17 month old but considering cloth nappies once bub number two gets here. Can anyone tell me what brands are good and what I would need? And if its worth the hassle of washing ect? And if there is a way of getting ones that would last from newborn to toilet training? Any hints and tips would be great.
