Hello and welcome. Would love to hear your poems. I'm not a writer myself but I do enjoy reading poetry. :) Keep it up, its a great outlet to express ones feelings...

) I like writing poems but my poems usually end up short and to the point. The irony is this is the shortest poem I ever wrote.

Well today was interesting. First my bd said that we would never be in a relationship again and that he didn't want another child. After about 2 hrs of intense conversation(not arguing, but we were both pissed but remained calm) we came to the conclusion that we are going to rebuild our relationship from the ground up starting as friends, and he's going to be here for my little one.

im going home for the night ill read everyone comments tommorrow if anyone even bothers to comment, i spent hours on these poems id like to know people liked them or are inspired by them, also they are in my journal forever if you want to read them again

My Dear Jamie, As you know I recently lost my dad to a terminal illness. The pain of a loved one's death can be overwhelming regardless of how or why they died. My heartaches for you and your father. I agree with Sara, "Breath Jamie Breath." Remember all the wonderful memories you are left with, the lessons he taught you through the love of his big heart. We all have our own demons, they just come in different forms.

I found these poems back in November when my best friends baby died at 6 months old........ What Makes a Mother I thought of you all, I closed my eyes and prayed to God today. I asked what makes a Mother and I know I heard Him say, A Mother has a baby. This we know is true. But God can you be a Mother when your baby's not with you?"Yes you can!", He replied with confidence in His voice, "I give many women babies, when they leave is not their choice.

wow thanks for that, i love poems as they really help and encourage, we dont always have the right words to use,so poems like that are great.

One of your poems deals with abandonment and a lost love while another speaks of a chance to come. We all have ways of dealing with rejection and lost hope. Some swing at the walls, some hide from the world, some write poems, some cry, some swear, some do unlikely acts and some actually thank God. All in all we all react in different ways depending on the circumstance and how strong or weak we are when it happens.

I hvae been feeling dizzy, lightheaded, feeling weak, shaky, nausea (in the morning its really bad, to the point where i cant even smell food without being sick), also i have been having memory loss. i would go to the doctor but school just started and i have missed 4 days and almost got checked out early every day. Im taking anti-depression medicine. it might be the casue of it but it never made me feel like this before. Also just got over a bad break-up, and have been really depressed.

I find out on the 29th what my little babe is, I have a really strong feeling its a girl but we'll see :)

I did something kinda like you did but on a greeting card with a picture of my first ultrasound(14 weeks)..... I SUCK at poems too lol so this is what a friend wrote for me.... I thought it was cute... so its just an idea! I do not have a face to see, Or put inside a frame. I do not have soft cheeks to kiss, Nor Yet do I have a Name. You can’t yet hold my tiny hands, nor whisper in my ear. It’s still to soon to sing a song or cuddle me so near.

I got Ursula K. Le Guin. I love that link, it is fun. I looked up the biography on Ms Le Guin and found out she lives in Oregon, so do I. I may become a devoted fan, I will have to read some of her books and poems.

i don`t eat for many days.. i don`t drink or smoke.. i love reading novels.. i love tragedies... i don`t know why i am writing all this.. its just ********.. nut i am feeling good after writing all this.. i don`t have any boyfriend.. i believe in platonic love.. is that also wrong?? i want an answer.. should i consult a psychologist.. is this because of over reading.. am i going to die... please help me.. i need my answers.. i am suffering...

Ah, it is so nice to have another poet on the forum! I LOVE most of Kim's poems (although frankly, I'm not digging the spider image)... lol I especially liked life, lives, life dies..... Thanks for your contribution! My only thought for the evening is to stand up when you fart, because it feels better and helps get it out! (Obviously, I am NOT the poet!) You other side of the oceaners--have a great sense of humour, and a better evening for it!
