I'm pregnant and I watch scary movies and sad movies and happy movies. My baby is perfectly fine. I agree with cbreeziw, it's not like you're terrified forever or depressed. It's only in the moment and my mom loves scary movies so I'm sure she watched a ton while she was pregnant with me and I'm completely normal.

its an oldie but goodie and im sure you all have seen it but it came on yesterday and i cried my eyes out--Terms of Endearment! its sad sad sad, not really all about moms but its got a lot to do with it though. "Give my daughter the DAMN SHOT!" haha! the second part is called the evening star. i also like the movie Seventh Sign with Demi Moore, she gives her son life at the end knowing it will end her own and if you dont choke up when she does i dont know! It's sad and awful. My midwife and some other moms told me while pregnant it's good to avoid those types of stories if possible because when we're pregnant were so open, vulnerable, and sensitive. I was told to stay away from scary movies even... and Sci fi but I'm a nerd and I still watch sci-fi Lol it makes sense though to protect yourself from those types of traumatizing things though.

Oh definitely the Twilight movies. Let's see Gran Torino was wonderful but sad. I love all Clint Eastwoods movies. Titanic and Terms of Endearment as hysterically crying after movies. I'm also completely obssessed with 80's movies like Sixteen Candles, the Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink and About Last Night. Loved the Brat Pack...haha. Any dancing movie like Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Salsa. I can go on and on.

I was the same way, my hubbys fam has nothing but girls. His sis has 5 girls and this will be my second girl. Im 35wks. Luckily his bro had the only boy grandchild in the fam lol. But itll be fine. no matter what cloths I wear, makeup etc. My boyfriend likes to watch action movies. In action R rated movies theres always sex and nudity. Of course he watches it. So I found out Friday that I am having a girl. My mom is coming around to the thought of me being pregnant. Especially because its a girl. I just found out that my bf is not excited about the pregnancy anymore because its not gonna be the little boy we thought we were having. I also know my side of the family won't b happy once I tell them its a girl because we have too many girls in the family. I feel like this little girl won't get as much love from everyone ad I orginally thought.

I was very scared that she might leave me because I had a bad experience before with my first girlfriend and I got cheated on, So I was really scared that she might leave me and I had hard time trusting her but in couple of occasions she really proved that she loves me and I even read her diary and the things she wrote about me was like something you would see on movies.
