Avatar f tn Anyone know songs for a new baby boy. Like one that has meaning something touching. I want to put a slide show together but looking for the perfect song. It doesn't matter what kind of music it is just something to play while showing pictures of my baby.

Avatar m tn Inner voice? That would be the songs? Are these songs you make up, or something you've heard? Vocals? Instrumentals? Same one, over and over -or a selection? Are the songs the innver voice, or is there ALSO an inner voice speaking to you or from you? I'm not sure why this is, but I hear music -as in orchestra or instrumental music- kind of embedded in other sounds around me, be they natural or human produced; sometimes I make up a complete tune out of it.
Avatar m tn Honestly, I listen to Explosions in the Sky. If you haven't heard of them, I definitely recommend at least checking them out. While they are an actual band rather than a peaceful recording, their music is all instrumental, and it's so very soothing. I have horrible insomnia, but they can actually help with it more effectively than any other background music I've played. Lemme know what you think about em(: PS.
1479078 tn?1329363783 put on the radio and turn it up. For me, music was very instrumental in my recovery. It motivated me and helped me to WANT to get better, in certain ways it did. Listen to songs that speak to you about your addiction...it'll help. Cleaning will give you exercise, you will feel better after you are done. Good luck, don't give in...
Avatar f tn The doc said my baby should start hearing soon, and I want to introduce my baby to some wonderful classical and instrumental music, but all I have at home is a few pairs of earbuds and one pair of studio-esq headphones that cover your ears. Do any of you moms already, know anything about headphones that are safe for the baby so I don't accidentally deafen my child before their born?
Avatar f tn I was listening to a song with a high pitched xylophone as the intro instrumental. I listened to the song for a while and then after listening to the song, I could hear the faint high pitched xylophone despite the music not playing anymore. When I stepped out of the bus, it was gone. Then a few days after, I was at a coffee shop and I was listening to different songs and when I removed my headphones, I could hear this ringing sound on my left ear again.
4411499 tn?1356051765 Aint u got any songs that remind u of sad things?
Avatar f tn (That entire album is one of my top 10). This one is instrumental, unlike the rest of his songs, but it has so much feeling that it needs no lyrics. It is called the three of us: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZuqGI0kS3Z4 Also, I like Jack Johnson's Flake: http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAWPVZ7A16o This is a live version, which doesn't produce the best "sound" as the orginal, which is much better, but Ben Harper's playing of the Weisenborn (at the end) is awesome.

2048234 tn?1330814100 Hey all. I am trying to put together a little book of positive notes for my sad days. Do any of you have songs that help you get through the tough days or quotes? I just want something I can keep with me whenever things get tough. I really want to go home, or atleast go outside.
Avatar m tn I know this post is a little old, but I figured I answer, or empathize. I have the same thing. Except it's not really the same song over and over. I don't hear made up music either, just songs that I know, or have heard at least once before. I learn music unusually quickly. I can hear a song a few times, and without even trying I'll know all the words, the beat drops, the high hats, the pauses for acapella, and all the little adlibs.
Avatar f tn Yes I cried badly because my boyfriend was sleepy and didn't want to talk and it made him sad so he talked to me but I was still crying because he didn't want to talk to me in the beginning!
Avatar f tn I saw a suggestion on Pinterest to get the baby an email and start emailing songs, stories and pictures, along with a blog and keep doing this until its 18th birthday... Btw, Pinterst has great baby stiff ideas for decorating, seeing/crafts, etc... Great way to pass the time! :) Try music therapy (think ckassical), and what I REALLY suggest along with the others, is to read your bible. Start in the book of Psalms. You can go online and read it, too.
1428227 tn?1283012106 Most music programs have APIs to export played songs. Some have APIs for input as well. Combining the data from the mood tracker and the music tracker, MedHelp could determine what type of music, artist etc. puts the user in a better mood. At the very least it could be graphed, at a higher level it could be used to have the music player play songs which would increase the user's mood.
Avatar f tn Lol I have noticed songs have been getting to me when their not even sad!!
1019636 tn?1298260027 well had a fight with my bf but thats nothing new..but the weather gets me down and all i feel like doing is listening to sad songs and making myself cry...does any one else feel like this??? i do suffer with depression...but always more in the winter and rainy seasons..
338416 tn?1420045702 This has been driving me crazy. Every time I listen to music on the headphones, I start sobbing. It's usually something with somebody singing, rather than instrumental music. Really annoying, because it means that I have to pick my music carefully so I won't be embarrassed. And I do mean sobbing - my stomach muscles start to bob, and my breath catches like I'm working up to a good cry. My eyes well up with tears, and I have to really fight to keep them in my eyes.
Avatar f tn There is NO way I can narrow this down to one choice!!! LOL I have a very wide range of music that I love listening to-from heavy rock like Panterra, disco-Blondie, and classical Mozart. I'm not a huge fan of country music-I will admit to liking a few songs, like Carrie Underwood's-Before He Cheats (title????).
