Rebif can cause hair loss -- it did for me, starting around 6-8 weeks after I started Rebif. Hair loss lasted about 3-4 months. Also: thyroid issues can cause hair loss -- and Rebif can affect thyroid function. So get your TSH, free T3 & T4 bloodwork done -- every few months while on Rebif. I take Zinc & biotin (as well as vit D & fish oil) to help with hair loss.

I've heard a lot of people swearing by Biotin to combat the hair loss, but I haven't done any research to see if there exists any unbiased substantiation of those claims. Have you tried anything to fight the hair loss, and if so, have you had any luck?

Why would it suddenly cause malar rash, joint pain and swelling, extreme hair loss, anemia and chronic diarrhea, just to name a few. Has anyone heard of rebif causing lupus symptoms?
