I'm currently unable to be diagnosed as BPD since I don't meet the age requirement for personality disorders. Although, my psychiatrist and my different therapists agree I'm a severe case of it according to my history and current diagnosis. What I worry about is that I have a very passionate interest in serial killers, and this past year I've recognized several symptoms I share with the average killer.
He is very problematic at school and our 3 other children are fine at school, we have a newborn also that he rarely has anything to do with, he looks at me funny all the time or when i get on to him i have researched fas and find some of the behaviors in serial killers, that i see in him. He is very emotional and crys allot wonders alot about dying and ask lots of questions about it. Is he a serial kilter in the making, will he grow up and kill us all?
s left arm stop working and he feel extreme pain in the arm. and still he can not do any work with his left arm and he become a psychotic patient by using pain killers. Can anyone please help us. how can we treatment my brother..
I just love it for entertainment but when I hear someone say the baby hears everything. I start questioning myself what if the baby is listening to the movie too. The show is mostly about serial killers, rapists, gruesome stuff. Oh my. I'm just probably paranoid.
This happens all the time though (although not necessarily with Prison Guards). All those really infamous serial killers have groupies proposing to them and wanting to write to them. Some women just seem to have this weird thing for killers. I can't figure it out. Just wired wrong is all I can come up with.
I know I have psychotic problems as well and cannot do without psychotic meds. I find life to be almost unbearable in the mornings and I dread nights. I hope none of the rest of you go thru this. I know longer know what I have mentally and feel lost. Don't worry, I am not actively suicidal, just keep my options open for the time when I run out of available meds and have to go unmedicated.
someone, anyone needs to get him serious help. I was just reading a report from a psychologist about the traits of serial killers. ( not to scare you but so you'll know the seriousness), the srrial killers all had one thing in common and that was that they all hurt/killed animals. So talk to someone till you get answers.

my 22 year old son just experienced a psychotic break. I need to understand how he was feeling. Is there anyone who has personally experienced this, and would be willing to describe what you felt? I am desperate to understand what he is going through.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.
I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?

No, The first Dr we saw said that the stimulant would make his ODD worse, so she gave the anti psychotic instead, but now it seems that even that isnt working. Plus, his add is out of control at home. He never stops talking i Mean NEVER and hes impatient and cant concentrate on anything and if he doesnt get what he wants immediately , he absoloutely falls apart at the seams.
I mostly have nightmares - zombies, serial killers, attacked by a swarm of bees, etc. I've had a couple weird ones that should be sexy bit aren't. Like going to a strip club with the hubs but all the women are doing ballet. Lol.
I know when he told other people about the drawing they were concerned that this is how serial killers start out. I have not been to questioning with his behavior like the question if he was the leader or follower (Good Question). I have always felt bad for him, raised in daycare and not much motherly nurturing at an early age. I think she is trying now but...
I think my main concern is are these signs for potential voilent nature to worsen.
it didnt happen after id been arrested 4 murder or 4 being arrested 46 times or 4 spending time in jail or after escaping not 1 but 2 serial killers(1 was joel rifkin,1 was never found-only the bodies he left behind).at some point u wont b able 2 take it anymore.people think when ur on drugs youre having a great time-well,maybe 4 the first few months-its all downhill from there.
