I am a 33 yr old male and have recently been diagnosed with testicular cancer. Going to a sperm bank as an insurance policy has brought on a great deal of anxiety (yes, anxiety ) due to them testing my blood for STD's including HIV. Since my last HIV test about 2 1/2 or so years ago (have been tested twice in my life), I have had around 9-10 sexual partners all of which I had not had protected sex with.

Once again thanks for the reply. I will offer the Blood Bank a copy of the RIBA test as suggested by Bill if they don't think I'm good for blood donation in future then it can't be help.(Which I hope is not the case)

My husband and I were separated at the time he was sent to a psychiatric hosptial for drug overdose, and I have told the hospital of my husband's behaviors so that he would not connect him to programs here in my state when he was discharged. My husband asked me what I had told the doctors because they told him they had talked to me he had to stay a little longer. I would not take calls from him only the doctors.
i found one website that said this is major symptoms of hiv? is it true? only back pain or lower bank pain is a symptoms of hiv? pls help...
Who does not need regular Pap tests?
The only women who do not need regular Pap tests are:
•Women over age 65 who have had 3 normal Pap tests in a row and no abnormal test results in the last 10 years, and have been told by their doctors that they don't need to be tested anymore.
•Women who do not have a cervix and are at low risk for cervical cancer. These women should speak to their doctor before stopping regular Pap tests.

s psychiatrist and therapist held an intervention and she was told that if she ever stole anything again, she would be prosecuted and likely spend time in jail. Two days after that intervention, my bank noticed a large number of checks coming through my account made out to my sister and various jewelry stores signed with a signature that didn't look like mine. So I went to the Sheriff and filled out a complaint with a detective.
If transmission had in fact taken place,in 1 month, 2 months, seroconversion would have taken place and the antibody test reacted or seroconversion no happened,so there would be a high viral load and be detected through PCR/NAT.
If you worry too much,then have a rapid HIV test which gives result in 15 minutes.
Don't rely on blood bank to know your status.

I went to supermarket went to cashier point, the lady there wanted to have my bank card to put into machine and i dont remember if she touched it or not as I put that in the machine myself, but afterwards I saw that her finger was bleeding!! I Dont know if her fresh blood has touched my bank card stuff that I have bought or my hand. I also had cut on my hand which it happened in the morning. I also saw some stain on my bank card and am not sure what that is.
I am extremely fatigued and find it IMPOSSIBLE to get out of bed some mornings, have been to the doctor for a ton of rashes that just come and go, severe anxiety and depression and even was sent to a psychiatric hospital back in November, frequent low grade fevers, excrushiating daily, muscle and joint pain, chest pain, heart pain, kidney pain, rynaunds disease, extreme dizziness and headaches, very sensitive to sun (i cant spend more than an hour or so outside without symptoms), and really bad
The blood bank wouldn't tell you that you tested postive they would say your unit was rejected and to see your doctor. As for insurance companies they would tell you if you were going to be tested for HIV.
