1059772 tn?1286655190 I actually believe it IS quite possible to order online and from Canada online safely. I'm glad Helen posted. You need to check that the company is accredited with the Canadian agency that deals with pharmacies. There is an independent number you can call and check. Many US docs will give you a hard copy prescription (to send/fax to Canada), but don't want to know waht you want it for.
797195 tn?1240579823 I even feel the effects of the Provigil the next day (though not nearly as strong). Actually the Provigil fades out about 8 hours after I take it, but I sure do sleep well that night! The next day, I have slightly more energy than usual. I love Provigil, but, due to the chest fullness, can't use it very often so that is why I was considering Adderall (I'm also ADD). In your opinion, how did the Adderall compare to the Provigil in terms of fatigue reduction?
572651 tn?1530999357 The authentic Provigil samples from the Doctor and the Modafinil, manufactured in Canada, sold at Walmart in US (BUT THE PILLS ARE STAMPED PROVIGIL) are not the same. Provigil, if I pay on my own, is $1,200 for 30ea 200 mg, while the Modafinil my Rx plan pays for is around $721.00. This puts me at the upper limit of my coverage pretty quickly. The samples gave me wonderful results when using only 1/4 tablet for four 4days per week.
572651 tn?1530999357 I have rx coverage for mine, fortunately, and I don't have to take a trip overseas as much as I would want to, or order online for my provigil. A $100 copay gets me a three month supply, which is by far less than the cost of buying it online and definitely beats the cost of a good defense lawyer. But the question was bouncing around in my head and I thought this wise group would have some thoughts.
Avatar f tn I am very stressed out about not being able to afford this medicine. As an alternative, I am really considering ordering from canada online pharmacy. Has anyone ordered any kind of prescriptions thru the internet? Please shed some light. Thank you.
1142551 tn?1264736930 My pharmacist told me to look to Canada and I found on online pharmacy that had decent prices. It's still spendy, but later this year when I fall into the Medicare donut hole I will go to them. I will give the site address by PM to anyone that asks.
Avatar n tn her doctor that will be treating the disease is starting her on provigil. i did some research online and it seems to be pretty safe and has a lower probability of addiction is far less than the other options... the constant fatigue seems to be her biggest day to day issue. minus the depression and anxiety but that is getting much better since she went into treatment...has anyone ever used provigil or knows someone that has? any noticable side effects? and cautions you would give?
1088527 tn?1425313375 I started taking provigil yesterday and wow I cant believe the energy I scrubbed the shower down washed the cabinets down went food shopping then took dog to dog park for 4 hours then home and dinner usually just one of these activities wipes me out . I am glad that I have energy but I feel jittery my legs feel like they are going hundred miles and hour and I am stuttering badly in the am I think I am trying to talk faster then I can get it out.
1396846 tn?1332459510 I recommend using only half a tablet for a few days to get your body used to it. This is a mental stimulant and some people feel a little revv'ed up by it at first. Taking the dose up a little slowly has been helpful with that. I recommend taking it as early in the morning as possible. It can have as long as a 15 hour action in you. If I take it after 10 I have Bright Eye well into the next am. Until you see how how it acts in you, do not take it after noon.
Avatar f tn Anyone on medicare have any experience or enlightenment on provigil financial help? I've been quoted 33% copay (tier 4) by my drug insurance company which is over $300 for me The online sources I've contacted no longer cover provigil since the generic came out and the generic is about the same price... Looking for financial assistance sources if anyone knows of any thanks!
Avatar f tn I believe they dont want to pay for my provigil. I had sent the payment to Aetna Tri Net Cobra and did it online instead of mailing it, had I mailed it, it would have been postmarked. I got very little mail for days after the Memorial Holiday. So my bank sent the check on June 2. I had no clue, went to the doctors, got my refill for provigil, but couldnt afford to pick it up when they said we were denied coverage. Its a shame when Americans cant use the drugs they need.
Avatar f tn So far Provigil has mostly been beneficial for me . . . it usually gives me the energy and focus I need to get some things (but not all) done. But yesterday and today I just can't seem to focus on anything. It is SO frustrating . . . I think I have the energy to do things . . . but I don't know where to start . . . or I begin something only to be sidetracked to another.
1100837 tn?1267668675 m experiencing from the RA and FMS with Provigil (for fatigue) and Effexor XR (for pain). What do you all think?
798555 tn?1292787551 Save on meds from Canada? Read up....Big Pharma is still urging the House of Representatives to make all US bound shipments of any medicine and online ordering capabilities for the US residents illegal. Many people order worldwide US brands of many meds from Canada due to their affordability. This takes away profits from Big Pharma and your freedom of choice. If not you, it most likely could effect someone you know.
Avatar m tn I have essentially, turned myself into an addict am ashmed and embarassed I allowed that to happen. A fwhile ago a friend gave me a huge ziplock bag of PROVIGIL 200, and a massive amount of ritalin, 5s,10s, and extended release 20s. I have attempted to research PROVIGIL, ate one and it seems to add to my energy level. I am not looking to trade addictions.
382218 tn?1341181487 The 'list price' is really just what the insurance company can expect to be charged, not the individual patient. As it says at the end, people who can not afford it can avail of patients' assistance programmes, and if this proves prohibitive still, there may be programmes or grants through charities of societies to make up the difference.
Avatar m tn 1) Does it cost money in canada to meet with a counsellor? (don't really want to go to the meetings) Kind of looking for a step by step program type thing to keep me clean? 2)Can you keep it anonymous and not release your name?
620048 tn?1358018235 by the way, i do use provigil or else i dont function well at all.
Avatar n tn I still feel pressure in my temples and forhead even though I have stopped taking Provigil. Can you have withdraws from Provigil?
405614 tn?1329144114 I finished the morning news, all my emails, and looked up numerous Provigil articles and discussions online in less than an hour. Normally this would take me several hours. I can't make any more comments as it is much too early to make a legitimate diagnosis, but I can honestly say so far, would recommend you do whatever you need to do in order to get it approved by your insurance so you can try the medication. I am confident you will not be disappointed. Good Luck!
5509293 tn?1428531475 This is my first day on Provigil, taking 200 mg this morning. This is an attempt to replace Adderall 15 to 30 mg per day. Provigil walloped my blood pressure. It dropped by 10 points when I check 12 hours after taking the first dose. I've been lethargic most of today. I finally took an Adderall so I could function.
401095 tn?1351391770 Is anyone familiar with the drug provigil or monafinil for enery and depression...? It is a drug for narcolepsy....wakes me up but not sure about use during tapering tabs...
390916 tn?1204840470 Has anyone tried ProVigil? My sleep specialist suggested that I try it for the deep tiredness that I experience, even after getting great help with sleep from my CPAP machine. By the way, my trip to Seattle went very well. Though it is indeed very hilly, the cooler weather and low humidity made it easier to get around than here is muggy Baltimore. The weather seems to have a huge impact on this disease.
518001 tn?1212419235 Is anyone taking Provigil? Has it helped you? What does it help? Do you have any side effects from it? I'm going to try it, after I get my results back from my next set of MRIs. Does it make the tremors worse? Thank you!
