Common Questions and Answers about Buying provigil in canada

provigil

1059772 tn?1286655190 My Copaxone is about $1325 per month. I think my Neurontin is about $200/month for 720x300mg pills. Elavil - no clue and I'm too lazy to go look, but I will later. Both covered 100% by my provincial and employer insurance plans. How do those prices compare to elsewhere in Canada (I'm in northern Alberta), in the US, UK, NZ, Aus, etc?
797195 tn?1240579823 I tried Provigil at one time, but I never could tell that it did anything. Adderall is by far the strongest I think that I have tried. If you have troulbe with your heart from provigil, I would doubt that you could use the adderall at all. I didn't have any trouble switching off of Adderall though.
572651 tn?1530999357 m not sure if there would be an issue mailing it from Canada to the U.S. I could ask a pharmacist in Brussels if they can recommend a reputable web site that ships to the U.S?
572651 tn?1530999357 The authentic Provigil samples from the Doctor and the Modafinil, manufactured in Canada, sold at Walmart in US (BUT THE PILLS ARE STAMPED PROVIGIL) are not the same. Provigil, if I pay on my own, is $1,200 for 30ea 200 mg, while the Modafinil my Rx plan pays for is around $721.00. This puts me at the upper limit of my coverage pretty quickly. The samples gave me wonderful results when using only 1/4 tablet for four 4days per week.
1396846 tn?1332459510 I recommend using only half a tablet for a few days to get your body used to it. This is a mental stimulant and some people feel a little revv'ed up by it at first. Taking the dose up a little slowly has been helpful with that. I recommend taking it as early in the morning as possible. It can have as long as a 15 hour action in you. If I take it after 10 I have Bright Eye well into the next am. Until you see how how it acts in you, do not take it after noon.
Avatar m tn Maybe in Canada things are different, but here in the States you are really buying a pig in a poke when it comes to whether or not you are getting a healthy puppy from a pet store.
398059 tn?1447945633 t consider MS a dissease that provigil is helpful in. I think provigil was a Godsend. My pharmacist told me that he was given provigil while he was stationed in Afganistan. He said that the US Army gives it out to soldiers to add extra alertness without the buzz.
Avatar n tn you can buy perscriptions from canada for a lot less on most perscriptions. Americare pharmacy Inc., phone is 888-299-6337. We by some of ours there. they are good people, i believe. Agrippa=kenny.....Good luck!!!!
552012 tn?1272855991 I bought her Zarontin (she was on that from age 3-10) before from a pharmacy in Canada. She is now buying her lamical in Canada. If you email me privately I will give you the email of that company. The neuro saw her Wednesday and told her that, at her current dose of 150mg a day (she's supposed to be on 150mg TWICE a day) that she is on less than what the neuro gives her migraine patients!!, and that she is putting herself in danger.
Avatar f tn Also, I am fortunate that my insurance covers it, but my GP did look into a pharmacy in Canada where he could get it for me for about $200 for 3 months - I am assuming this is legitimate! I will find out the details and maybe this could save you some $$$. Regarding the effectiveness of Provigil: I was researching the side effects of this drug and read that it is OK to take Provigil with food, but that it may delay its effects for about one hour.
9442948 tn?1406816451 There's a lot more work involved but it's way to long to explain through this message on my phone, there's a science to it.
382218 tn?1341181487 The 'list price' is really just what the insurance company can expect to be charged, not the individual patient. As it says at the end, people who can not afford it can avail of patients' assistance programmes, and if this proves prohibitive still, there may be programmes or grants through charities of societies to make up the difference.
Avatar f tn You are correct in that statement about it saying made in Canada. It leaves us here in a tough situation. For example, something can be made in China, but if a component of it (doesn't necessarily have to be the majority of it), or the packing (think Cereal) was made here, they can label it Made In Canada. Pretty wrong isn't it. It makes me so mad. There is legislation out there to enforce more accurate labeling, but so far our Congress hasn't done a darn thing about it.
Avatar n tn CAN PROVIGIL PRECIPITATE AN ATTACK OF MANIA IN A PERSON WHO HAS A PROCLIVITY FOR MANIA BUT THE MANIA IS LYING DORMANT This discussion is related to provigil side effects.
619930 tn?1260374254 I am in week 42 of tx and my trial doc prescribed 100 mg of Provigil to help with my fatigue (he can't/won't prescribe procrit). My hgb was at 9.4 as of last Friday after being in the mid 10's for a while. I am sleeping "ok" at night with Ambien CR, but have been getting close to worthless (mentally and physically) as far as work goes the past few weeks. I'm wondering if this will really help or possibily aggravate my dizziness from stairs and mild exertion.
1088527 tn?1425313375 I hope cutting them in half works for you! I found Provigil to be the only thing for lift me out of the fatigue and even helps cut the mental fog. You don't want to wear yourself out, but being able to accomplish more is a great thing. Be kind to your body! My insurance covered Provigil for me for a year, then denied me again. A friend with sleep apnea got a prescription approved, but they filled it with the generic. The receipt said: your insurance saved you $939.00.
649926 tn?1297657780 I use Provigil. I mostly have to use half the regular dose. This gives me a modicum of a boost in energy, but it stabilizes my imbalance a little, too. My operating memory is still pretty scattered, but my academic memory - the one I use to teach here - has remained intact. It doesn't do squat for my stamina, my strength, or my spelling. If meds are too expensive look online to Canada - to one of their licensed pharmacies. The prices are quite good.
Avatar f tn He was a little disappointing in that he was more interested in talking about horses (I board horses) than talking about my symptoms. I had one of the jerks while in there, they seem to only occur when I'm sitting on the exam table. He asked if they disrupted my life and I said not really because they only happen when I'm laying down usually, and only if I'm really worn out or stressed. Anyhow, I told him my biggest problem was fatigue.
Avatar f tn I dont know if this is accurate or not, but I thought it should be shared. I just read this in the "Health" Section of Foxnews.com I have heard a lot of really good things about Provigil, although I've never used it. It was recommended to me many times though. Just some food for thought. Seems EVERYTHING comes with its own set of dangers attached.
Avatar m tn A decent GP would be the place to start ..... provigil is actually indicated for treatment of CFS .......... Its an expensive drug at 10.00 a pill prescription.....lots of insurance companies dont wish to cover it for that reason...... but it is being widely used now - - it will most likely be rescheduled before long because it has more of the shortcomings that straight amphetamines have than was thought during trials........
Avatar f tn You cant get it at some compounding pharmacies in some states in the US, but the prices are 3 times the Canadian prices. Good luck!
