I heard there is a 5mg propecia pill you can take once a week.. can that keep my ED at bay maybe? Can once a week maybe twice propecia keep my hair but my ED away? I don't get why this is happening to me now.. But what if that starts up my ED again.. what if that ruins the recovery I've been making off the pill.. I don't want permanent ED.. I'm only 22.. I don't want to lose my hair either.. is there anything I can do to keep my hair and not have ED?
Not sure if this has already been asked or answered... I have mild ED it's due to using findriside for hair loss. My hair is fine but not worth it now. I only just noticed it four days ago and have immediately stoped taking the medication. Would you say I have done permanent damage or when the findristride is totaly out if my system will it all go back to normal. I have an okay sex life and I am 32.
Age of 24, take propecia. My sexual desire dropped, no morning erections, and my ejaculate volume noticeably decreased. After a month, and a horrible sexual experience, I through out my propecia. Now 30, don’t get morning erections. Rarely wake up and find my penis a bit enlarged....but this is a rare event. My sexual desire has greatly diminished, and if it was a 10 before propecia, I would say it’s now a 5.

So I'm 38 years old and have had a very active sex life up to around 6 years ago. I gave up on the hunt or the longing for a relationship or sexual activity. Literally to the point to where I had one or two if any sexual encounters per year. Here recently I have become more sexually active and I'm having issues with ED. I would say looking back I may have had issues in the past two years but it was nothing I couldn't overcome with a little more foreplay.

m on propecia...however, my doctor (being pretty cool), prescribed me 5mg Finasteride (i.e. Propecia). I split the pills in half, which is pretty close to the dosage for Propecia. The bottle lasts me two months, and costs me $5 because finasteride is covered on my insurance. I'm 28 years old, soooo....the insurance company DID need my doctor to verify the prescription. But like I said, he is cool :) See if your doc will hook you up the same!
I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. I have been taking Propecia since 2.5 years at variable doses(0.25 first 6months, 0.5 mg for one year and 1 mg for 1 year till today), In october 2016 my derm put me on accutane 10 mg and minoxiline(100mg) for treating my mild acne, I had been drinking heavily for 5 days before starting my accutane course, 10 days into the course, I started to have Gyno(Unilateral, right breast with a movable tender lump), I dropped accutane and minoxiline and also propecia after 23 days.
5mg every other day for my hair. Could this be the cause? He insisted that it was NOT the Finasteride (propecia). In addition, I asked if it could be low testosterone and he claimed that it was not the issue in this case. I'm an avid bodybuilder whom exercises 5-6 days a week.
Hello I have been using Rogaine and Propecia 1mg a day for the last 6 years , my alts and so on have always been high around 150 , my gastro doctor 6 years ago it is fine to be using it , now I have stage 11 Fibrosis and will
start treatment probably in the next year or so I wil try and wait for telaprevir .
Is it safe to use rogaine & propecia while on treatment ?
As info, more than likely your is going to fall out with or without Propecia. I don't know how Propecia will effect the treatment drugs but some hair loss will be unavoidable.
My mindset during treatment was the less drugs I had to take, the better off I was because the treatment drugs are very powerful and I didn't want my body to have to metabolize any more drugs than absolutely necessary.
I took him to dermetologist, he priscribed Propecia for him. He said it has sexual side effect and goes away when yo sop taking the drug. He has lots of hair now and he does not lose any more hair. However, news is floting around saying that the sexual side effect comes from propecia is sometime not reversible. Asyesterday,he stopped his medicine. I am really worried if it has done any damage to him or not.
I also take cialis/viagra as needed for ED that started about 5-6 years ago. Still trying to figure out cause for ED, docs think primary hypogonadism. Again, not sure if this is related.

Saw Palmetto works like propecia but side effects are more severe than propecia. It blocks both 5-alpha reductase type I & II. so Testosterone does not convert to DHT, no DHT means no sexual function. Some people using SP also suffer from low total T and free T or in other words they are hypogonadal. The only solution is go on TRT for the life.
SP is very potent and dangerous herb.It should not be sold without clear warnings.
