Finasteride is an underestimated and dangerous pill for hair loss. Its hard to stop it and not experience libido issues. You are lucky enough that you took it for so little time. There are other people taking it for years facing serious hormonal side effects. It will probably take as long as you took the tablets to feel like before. So a couple of months is a good projection as this pill changes hormonal balance in your blood and gene expression about androgen receptors.
m on propecia...however, my doctor (being pretty cool), prescribed me 5mg Finasteride (i.e. Propecia). I split the pills in half, which is pretty close to the dosage for Propecia. The bottle lasts me two months, and costs me $5 because finasteride is covered on my insurance. I'm 28 years old, soooo....the insurance company DID need my doctor to verify the prescription. But like I said, he is cool :) See if your doc will hook you up the same!

I attribute my erection problems to the Propecia tablet that I take daily. As you know, Propecia is 1 mg. of finasteride. Propecia has been shown to cause side effects such as erectile problems in a small minority of users. Unfortunately, I appear to be in that small minority. I'm on Propecia too and my libido is not great, either. I'm able to have good erections but my sexual appetite is gone and sex doesn't feel as good as before. I really can't say if this is a result of ageing (I'm 32 y.o.) or finasteride.
By the way, my total testosterone levels are similar to yours. I wouldn't try any kind of hormonal treatment, though: results are usually disappointing.

re not taking any meds that may influence your hormone levels, e.g. finasteride (brand names Propecia, Proscar) for male pattern baldness. Always consult your doctor before you decide to try any new treatment or natural supplement. Good luck!
The first few erections were ok and the later ones poor. Before finasteride I could jerk off/ have sex easily several times a day. I starting taking creatine and a test booster to see if that helped however I felt that made things even worse. On top of all this my hair was falling rapidly way worse then when not taking propecia. After a night of super week erections, I decided to quit the drug.
I felt the same for a couple weeks after quitting.
To my horror I came across this page and saw your posts. I stopped taking propecia more than a year ago and have not regained any of the sexual funtion i lost while taking the meds. My erections are LAME, my seaman volume is a joke (and it used to come out like a garden hose) and my orgasms dont even feel that great. I can go months and months now without masterbation and dont even feel horny. This NEVER used to happen to me.

Well I am 17 years old. I don't really masterbate often but like 2-3 weeks ago I tried it 3times in one day and after that I can't seem to get hard. I only masterbated twice after that, like within the span of that day and today. I'm stressing so hard, I take 3000mg of l argentine, daily and vitamin c. I have seen a local Derm who said there was no scarring on my scalp and no real skin issues associated with my hair loss. In 2004 I took a course of Roaccutane for acne and noticed some thinning after the course finished. I was told that this was a known side effect, but that the hair would grow back. It has been over four years!!! My hair is uniformly thinned out across the entire scalp.

I took this propecia pill for 5 years 1mg a day everyday.. since I was 17 with little to no side effects besides no morning erections and watery semen.. turned 22 oct 2nd of 2016.. as the months went on I felt like my penis wasn't working like it should.. my erections seemed much weaker.. I stopped being hard during sex twice with my girlfriend..
