Hey ladies..so my baby boy finally arrived 06/16 and im soooo in love!!! Im a first time mom and i must admit im feeling a little inadequate. I cant get baby to burp after feedings and at nights he skwirms n gets fussy in his crib lije if hes having major stomach or gassy issues. As per doctor wr switched his formula to a sensetive kind for gassines n it seems to be sitting well in his tummy..
So, I have a bassinet in my room and and I plan on having my baby sleep in there in our room for the first while. My question is in the nighttime when the babys diaper needs changing did most mommies have these necessities to change them in your room or would you walk and change them on the change table in their room during the night.....??
My daughter will be here in about three months and I was wondering.....where should she sleep? I don't wanna put her in a crib until she gets a little older but what did some of you ladies do? And also I don't wanna have her in bed with me... Well I do but you know lol.....and my last question is about clothes.....what size should I get them? So far I have newborn and 0-3....any advice would help...
while it maybe a tradition in india you would be hard pressed to find anyone from a medical/pediatrican/breastfeeding position that would reccomend this or advise it, nope, no-way

Hey ladies! So this is my first pregnacy and im in need of some tips.. This seems to be a often concern cause I'm sure some of you mama bears over buy on some stuff to find out the little ones grow out way too fast.. So I mean I really need advice on how many boxes I should start out with for newborns. Most of you will probably reply with (it depends). Of course cause all baby's are different. I was a 6 lb baby and my fiance was 7 lbs. So very tiny baby's..
But he needs to be either swaddled or wrapped in his favorite blanket. We also need to hold him until be falls asleep or he will scream bloody murder until we pick him up. What I do to calm my little one is I lay down on the couch and put him on top of me with his head on my chest, and rub his back.He's out within minutes. I'll leave him there for about half an hour just to make sure he's actually sleeping then I'll move him to his bassinet.
t know about the Prevacid, but you should have your testosterone checked. My husband fell in his early fifties, was a body builder and avid runner. When he fell he broke his back in 2 places. He was diagnosed with Osteoporosis, they started him on Testosterone shots (his was low), and within a fairly short amount of time, his bones were strong again. He has to take the shots for the rest of his life.
i have had bright red blood in my stool for a few days now but very little to no pain, could it be from my taking prevacid?

I think Prevacid is a PPI. Ask your pharmacist. PPI's inhibit the absorbtion of calcium. I asked my gastrointerologist and he said "yes it does". I read that people who take PPI's for a long time, should take small breaks of treatment so they can absorb calcium. I'm NOT telling anyone to do this-follow your doctor's advise.
I also had my Vit.D checked and it was extremely low.
) We went back on Strattera and Prevacid. While we noticed an decrease in symptoms for the first 3 weeks, this past week they have comeback with avengeance, along with anxiety, tearfulness, and a general "mopy-ness". We are upping his Prevacid to 30 mg. If there is no improvement we go back to the GI Doc next week. Any advice? Anyone been through anything like this? Thanks.
I just went to the doctor to get blood tests and make sure that my drinking has not already damaged my body beyond repair. My doctor gave me Prevacid for some stomach issues I have been Having. Does anyone know if it is safe to take it when I have been drinking? I am really trying to stop but I am having problems with the withdrawls so I am trying to wean myself off. Any one have any opinions? I would hate to do more damage when I ma trying to correct already done damage.
After taking Prevacid, I gain my appetite back. The problem is, I have develope new symptoms after taking prevacid for 1 week. I am having very loose bowel movements, blood on the toliet paper when I wipe, indigestion, lower abdominal pain. Most importantly is I am having more frequent heartburn and chest pain, which I don't have when I am on the H2 blocker.
