Avatar f tn I'm 21and first will be here any day and yes I'm going to college... Being pregnant in college isn't so bad... Use the time you would have spent on partying to study and your amazing grades week get you a scholarship... Find other mommy friends on your campus to give you tips....talk to professors about your situation and they may cut you some slack on attendance add long as you are maintaining your grades.... Get a pump.. .. And map out classes and where you can feed your baby and change them..
Avatar f tn I spent my whole summer and third semester pregnant in college, how not fun right. But as the days wind down i get more and more nervous, im afraid its gonna hurt, what are your labor plans, epidural, natural or cesarean?
Avatar f tn I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant with my second. I've been to college before but I so desperatly want to go back. I know it will be hard with a 4 yr old and a new born but I feel like I owe it to them and myself. I'm going tomorrow to sign up, I'll be able to take a 5 week leave after the baby is born. I just need some words of encouragement and someone to tell me it is possible for me to reach the goal. I'm going for Medical Assistant.

Avatar f tn Do u ladies think it would b a bad idea if I still went to college? Just start later in the year? Or should I wait a few years?
Avatar f tn I know this doesn't pertain to pregnancy specifically, but I had to take a 1 year leave from USC in August because I found out I was pregnant. I was wondering if anyone knew if technical/community colleges had accelerated courses available, because my baby will make it's arrival probably right before or during exam week. Has anyone ever taken an accelerated course at a community/tech school?
Avatar f tn Yeah, being in college while pregnant is rough. I would still enroll in the class that you need for spring semester, and then come on very good terms with your professor. If you just talk to some of them and explain your situation, most likely they'll let you take the exams early.
Avatar f tn You're not alone there are lots of women who are pregnant and in college.. It's not a ton of fun, but really worth doing it.. I try n keep my mind on the big picture, and when I feel like giving up I think of my daughter and little one on the way. I want to set a good example for them 'just cus stuff gets hard is no reason to quit' and I know when all is said n done I will have done something I can be proud of..
Avatar n tn Anyone else pregnant in college? Im a second semester sophmore 4w+6d so ill be about 6 months pregnant taking finals in may. Baby is due is september so I will likely take the semeater or year off. Anyone else in a similar situation?
Avatar f tn Omg, is it me or is being pregnant in college hard af? I'm 34 weeks and I be so tired and lazy, I sometimes don't feel like going to class. I'm trying to remain focused though but I have to admit this is pretty hard and I know its going to get even harder when my baby girl arrives. Sheesh!
Avatar f tn Oh boy, the fall semester is starting soon and I'll be in my 2nd trimester the entire time. Any other pregnant ladies in college? How the hell do I function? I'm taking relatively easy classes since I found out I was pregnant right around the time I had to register for classes. So I'm taking math, history, painting, and ukulele. I'm kind of worried about the painting since I don't know if the fumes are going to be safe.
2515342 tn?1347084237 I still have 2 more years left in college and I am going to be pregnant through the fall .. I am debating whether I should continue going to class or switch to online classes ( because my college offers an online program) ... Any body else have the same situation or any suggestions?
Avatar f tn Anyone else in college right now? My midterms are on Wednesday and I am just so over it. My legs and feet are swollen, I barely fit my clothes, I'm exhausted, and I'm grumpy all the time! So over it. I just want to stay home with no bra or pants and think about my baby. Please tell me I'm not alone.
Avatar f tn I was in college when I found out I was pregnant. I was goin for Radiology Tech & was just abt to start clinicals. They didn't offer maternity leave soo when I had my baby I'd have 2wks off. I felt like that was too short & I was going to have to travel to diff cities for clinicals that weren't near where I lived soo I decided to leave before baby and go back after she's here.
Avatar f tn Not at all I'm a senior in college I am supposed to be graduated in July, I consider this pregnancy a slight speed bump in my education, to be honest it was a surprise and I was pretty upset at first But I'm just overjoyed now and cannot wait for my little princess to come I am 39 weeks prego and still in school and I'm actually working on an essay at the moment lol Everything will work out :)
Avatar f tn Any of you mommas still in college? I'm heading towards a degree in elementary education! I'm a little over 9 weeks pregnant with mine and my husbands first baby! What are you guys in school for? And how much longer do you have?
Avatar f tn I need the help of a d&l nurse preferably. But if your a nurse in general, I could use the help! Kik me , or message me.
Avatar f tn So I recently found out im pregnant 9 weeks along. im finishing out the semester at school...however im dorming. The cafeteria food is so processed and makes me want to puke. What are some things I can keep in my room and mini fridge that are better to eat?
4444857 tn?1383329413 I graduated December of 2011 but I had my daughter in college. I was pregnant going in, had her my second semester. I now have my degree in Biology Secondary Education, and I teach high school science. It's tough, but worth it.
5615074 tn?1378320440 Even my academic advisor was surprised they put me in his class! I'm still in my first year, but I'm the same as you, if I have the baby on the day class is that counts as the one class I miss and the hospital here keeps you in for 3-5 days so I will be just getting home and have to do school! Becoming a nurse is much harder than I thought.
Avatar f tn I have a 20 month old and am expecting my second baby in four weeks:) I've been in college since September and will be going right through until next April. I'm going to be honest it takes a lot of hard work and dedication but it is possible. Make sure to talk to your professors as soon as you can so that you can set up some sort of plan for after the baby is born. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I know I'm early in the pregnancy (6 weeks) but this is something that has been on my mind lately now that I know for sure I'm pregnant. I go to a community college where I live and I have one semester left before I graduate with my associates in arts and certificate in graphic design, the only rising concern of mine now is (if I'm still pregnant by then and don't miscarry later during this first trimester) how I'm gonna manage to finish the school year.
