Depo doesn't get out of your body right away, so you may still be dealing with the effects of the shot. On average, it takes women 5.5 months after stopping the shot to start ovulating again, although some manage to do it earlier (about 3 1/2 months after the last injection). The test came back positive because of the shot. It's far too early to be testing for pregnancy. They should have waited at least 14 days after you had the shot.

Are you seeing an RE? Have you had all the other hormone levels checked? An FSH test, for example, could give you an indication of your egg reserves.

It is possible that you could be pregnant. The home pregnancy tests look for the presence of the pregnancy hormone hCG in the urine. If the hormone level is not high enough to be detected you can get a negative result. The tests are most accurate 1 week after the first day of your missed period. Additionally you should test with the first urine of the morning. This is usually the most concentrated, and therefore has the highest level of the hormone.
Just because you've missed a period doesn't mean you're pregnant. Plenty of things can delay a period - stress, illness, hormone imbalance, infection, diet/weight changes. If in a few weeks you've still not had your period then go see your doctor and they can look into other things that could be delaying it.
How were you treated for Graves Disease? Are you now hypo? Are you on thyroid replacement hormones? If so, which ones, what dosage and for how long have you been on it?
It's possible that you need to increase your med dosage, if you aren't losing weight. Typically, when thyroid hormone levels are adequate weight will come off.

hi my last period was January 27 and I had my depo shot on February and since then I haven't had my period, may I be pregnant?
( I took diet pills by the end of march till april. ive been having unprotected sex since December-April because of the contraceptives. by the end of April I've been feeling really sick, nauseated, tired, and headaches. and the mood swings were just out of control. and my linea nigra from my first baby got darker! I took a pregnancy test this morning, and it was negative. now I am very confused, I feel sick and nauseated consistently now, thinking about just eating, even after eating.
There could be a few things or absolutely nothing. Hormonal imbalance, stress (both good and bad), diet, sleep habits, weight gain/loss, or you could just not ovulate one month. It happens to just about every female in their lifetime. It's also possible you're getting close to perimenopause, and in that time frame your cycles usually will become irregular. Hormone testing can confirm if that's the case for you.

Mm that's strange. The depo if you're on it for awhile will mess you up and after being in it so long it'll take awhile for your body to straighten back out. Only getting a shot once shouldn't do much. After you get the shot it wears off in 3 months and might take your body 3 more months to straighten out but your definitely in the clear. Maybe you should go get your progesterone levels checked.
Some test can detect the pregnancy hormone before you even miss a period so yes. Also fingering can only get you pregnant if there is live sperm on the hand. Sperm can live outside of the body but once it is dry it is no longer alive.
Regarding taking the morning-after pill after transfer, it might be dangerous to you due to the massive hormone loads involved already with IVF and the hormone loads of the morning-after pill. It also might not work. In the run-up to IVF, you will be monitored at least once by ultrasound and blood test to see how thick your uterine lining is and what your hormone levels are.
