Before pregnancy I was so oblivious to things. I would have thought that during pregnancy there was 4 weeks in a month but clearly its not. It amazes me that 4x10 is 40 but a full term baby is 40 weeks at 9 months. I googled it the other day because someone was on here saying "Im 27 weeks, how many months am I"? Im thinking, 27 weeks is clearly 6months3 weeks, duhhh. Why didnt she just divide 4 into 27, so I googled it and sure enough 27 weeks is 7 months.

think of every month being 4Weeks long then divide that by how many Weeks you are and if you have a remainder that's the extra Weeks you are...

Check an ovulation calendar, i have one n mine was dead on. I checked for u n it says from the 9th thru the 15 n ur most fertile day is the 12th. U can google ovulation calendar n it will tell u when u should be. I have ovarian cyst n im 16 weeks now.

10 lunar months. There are 4 weeks in a lunar month, but in a calendar month there are usually 30-31 days which is clearly more than 4 weeks (only 28 days). So 10 lunar months and 9 calendar months.

And that's if you're looking at just weeks. Calendar months don't have exactly 4 weeks, they're more like 4.3 or 4.4 weeks. So 40 weeks works out to 9 calendar months. I'm 26 weeks, but I'm 6.5 months.

But some women count pregnancy as there only being 4 weeks in a month which there is technically looking at a calendar 4 1/2 weeks. So you could argue that 6 months starts at 24 weeks but calendar wise 6 months starts at 26 weeks.

Look its as simple as this, this is what the dr gave to break down the weeks and months, there is more than four weeks in most months sometimes there are five weeks and there is more than 28 days in a month most have 30 and 31 if you don't like this chart don't go by it point blank period then end. Weeks 22-26 is month 6. I'm in month 6 at almost 24 weeks. Do not calculate your months every 4 weeks.

No pregnancy is 10 months. Some months have 5 weeks and not 4. Look at a calendar and count your 40 weeks... Then count your months.

Does anyone know of a Site where you can plug in your LMP and it tells you exactly how many weeks and days Pregnant you are? I've found some that tell you 3 5/7 weeks or ones that just say, you're in your 3rd week of Pregnancy but I'm looking for one that will say 3 weeks and 7 days or 7 weeks and 2 days..etc etc. Does anyone know of a site that does that? Thanks!

According to the pregnancy calendar my doc gave me ur six months and 27 weeks is seven months .... some people go my that others just go by the regular months ...

How come people say pregnancy is 9 months when you should be pregnant for 40 weeks which is a total of 10 months? Wouldn't it make more sence to say pregnancy is 10 months? Cause then when people ask you how many months you are and you say 5 theyre like oh you got 4 months left when its really 5..

So by my calendar my ovulation say is suppose to be last Friday is it too early to have symptoms??

If you are 32 weeks that means you are 8 months 4 days... The whole pregnancy is 40 weeks which is 10 months, not 9. I had that same issue. Right now I'm 36.5 which is 9 months and 5 days.

I Google a pregnancy calendar to help me convert weeks to months and it says 27wks is the beginning of your third trimester and also the beginning of your 7th month.....

Just wondering about the chinese calendar and its "accuaracy"...I find out the gender after my 20 week mark but just out of curiosity, checked the chinese calendar and it matched up with my -its a boy- prediction. Have any of u found it surprisingly accurate?

There is 4 weeks in a month. There is 10 months in a pregnancy. Just because they changed the way they count a pregnancy's start don't mean they can add weeks to a month to make it only 9 months.... it's simple 4 weeks in month... 40 weeks in pregnancy.... 40 weeks divided by 4 equals 10 months... look at your calendar do you see any months with 5 or 3 lines...no... them trying to make pregnancy fit there set time does not change the facts...

This equates to 9 calendar months because some months have 5 weeks in them. Its actually 10 lunar months which are 4 weeks each. So when you are 20 weeks it would seem that you are 5 months but really you are 4 and a half months. Its confusing but just the way it works. Most proessionals go by weeks.

I have a problem that has been worrying me about my pregnancy. I was single at the time of conception and had intercourse with man A on January 31st. I have written on my period calendar that I had my period feb 6th however I still for some reason question if I had it just because I'm being a worry wart. On February 28th a month later I had sex with man B. About six weeks later I took a pregnancy test and it was positive.
