Great Idea! I would love to post a link to my fav song for bad days but we don't have high speed dial-up and have trouble watching streaming videos on our computer. Maybe you can look them up! Two songs by Van Morrison "Into the Mystic" and "Brown Eyed Girl". I also listen to Green Day's "Good Riddance" when I'm missing my Daddy. I played that song at his funeral... Let the Bodies Hit the Floor is a Family Favorite of ours too!

For a long time (a year or more) and up to about 9 minths ago 'Eyedeas' would post 'Hep Lyrics' to different songs every Friday evening. I miss her (I think she was a she) weekly gems.

I quit listening to Tori Amos because of it. I love her songs but I always end up in a really bad place. When I am in a bad place her songs come to mind. I listen to Christian Contemporary or Country. The lyrics you can sing along with and they usually don't make me cry. Some country songs can be pretty depressing too though so I have to watch.

There is NO way I can narrow this down to one choice!!! LOL I have a very wide range of music that I love listening to-from heavy rock like Panterra, disco-Blondie, and classical Mozart. I'm not a huge fan of country music-I will admit to liking a few songs, like Carrie Underwood's-Before He Cheats (title????).

I forget name of movies I watch but remember songs and lyrics. I am unable to track even with the help of psychologist and therapist. what to do? I am tottally confused what people are doing and saying and why and can't respond to them properly. I can't figure it out whats wrong with me?

He realized his problem and checked himself into Rehab. During rehab he wrote lyrics for his w/d and depression he was going through to put into their newest albums. These songs include : "Pain" , "Over and Over", "Never too late", "Animal I have become","On my Own", "Riot", "Time of Dying" "Gone for Ever" and even more. He sings about overcoming this addiction. This helps me in trouble times.

So I'm not the biggest fan of generic, old school lullabies. I have a few songs picked out that I'm gonna be singing to her, but I'd love to hear some more suggestions and what you ladies plan to sing to yours or already are.

If that was the case I could consider myself a singer as I can visualize and appreciate what the lyrics to my songs would sound like if done right. But if I do try to sing dog for miles around would start to howl. And I really mean that. I wrote a song for a woman I knew (music and lyrics) and she begged me to sing it for her. Maybe I like this version better because I think the lead vocal is much better live than it is on the studio version and so I listened to this version so much that these seem like the right lyrics to me. That Band was so great that I have never understand why Robbie Robertson broke it up. To make music like that would have been heaven to me. Did he think he could do better on his own or with other musicians? If he did he proved himself dead wrong.

oh my goodness there are so many...I don't know how religious you are but there's a country song called "I saw God today" about a man waiting for his daughter to be born...and the end is "got my face pressed up against the nursery glass...she's sleeping like a rock, my name on her wrist wearing tiny pick socks. she's got my nose she's got her momma's eyes...my brand new baby girl...she's a miracle...I saw God today.

Today starts day 9 without opiates and so far so good. Not sure what made this time different, but at this point last time I quit I was so emotional; I figured that it was because I had numbed my emotions for so long with the pills that they were all catching up with me. Maybe I'm just lucky or finally found an anti-depressant/supplement mix that works well for me. Kind of dreaded yesterday, cuz it was payday & that would create opportunity.
