iam just geting over pneumonia and i have started getting joint pain.
My daughter had been diagnosed with mycoplasma pneumonia and now the doctor says she no longer has it. Her symptoms persist (severe headache, muscle and joint pain, no voice), duration of symptoms is six weeks. Is it possible to get mycoplasma, be cured and the symptoms persist? My daughter is 16yo and has missed 3 weeks of school. Please help!
Recently, I have noticed joint pain and went to my general practitioner. When I mentioned cold hands with a tingling/numb sensation, sharp chest pains when I breath in, as well as multiple joint pain, she suggested it could be Lupus, arthritis, or Raynard's. After looking up all three, lupus fits my symptoms best since belching, mouth ulcers, and irregular periods arose about five years ago. My question is, could I have MS, or could my mom actually have been misdiagnosed, and have Lupus?

Similarly throat infection can spread to lungs and cause pneumonia which can cause chest pain. If it is accompanied by fever then high pulse rate can cause chest discomfort. Antibiotics given during throat infections can cause acidity and chest pain. Pleuritis and Pulmonary embolism are other possibilities causing shortness of breath with chest pain. A CT scan of the chest can rule out both. If you have chest pain please get this investigated.
I have been messed up w/ joint pain and eye inflammation for a month now. I also have pain in butt bone or sacroiliac that started about 4-6 days after diahrreah w/ food poisoning. You could have it from the strep you had. I had to see a cardio dr the other day. i took steroids, also have eye steroids i am currently on. You could also have ankylosing spondylitis, but that usually involves eye issue. look at both.
Motrin/Advil/Aleve are all anti-inflamatories that you can buy over the counter and can help with joint pain. Be sure you are not allergic or have any illnesses that state that you can not use these. Th arms and legs feeling tingly usually come from lack of circulation, which can go back to the issue of exercise.If you are asthmatic and have had pneumonia within resent time and you get pains in your chest and shortness of breath, you may want to get that checked out.
My cousin had an HMO and was told for years that nothing was wrong with her,, she had joint pain, muscle aches, severe abdominal pain that sometimes lasted for weeks ect,,, her husband took a new job that offered a PPO,,, when the symptoms recently returned again she went to see the new doctor and what do you know, shes been suffering from Lupus for years.
I am sixteen years old. I am an asthmatic, although it rarely troubles me and I use my inhaler on a very rare basis. I have been on and off sick with the flu and I'm relatively sure I haven't recovered one hundred percent. You have good reasons to be concerned about your sister and her multiple health problems. Pain associated with her pneumonia should have eased as her pneumonia resolved. Pain at this time is not normal. The recurrence of cough and pain along with the abnormal X-ray findings of “scarring” and “a hole” in her lung suggest otherwise; that is to say that hers is what we would call complicated pneumonia.
You ask, if she needs to be admitted to a hospital.
About one month into the mono, I started experiencing extreme joint pain in my hands, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles and feet. I do take my pneumonia shot every year. My first case of pneumonia was when I was 6. I usually get pneumonia every other year although the shots have helped I didn't start getting them until I was 50. I take a flu shot every year.I take 10 mgs of generic flexeril to stop my muscles from cramping I take these 3 times a day. They do occur mainly at night. I have had ischemic colitis. My other health concerns are severe arthritis in the joints of my hands knees ankles and back.

It has progressed to a headache with severe dizziness which was thought to be a form of viral meningitis, fatigue, constant elevated liver enzymes, slight hypothyroid that I have to take synthroid for, and some joint pain. I have have seen a ENT who believed it wasnt somthing with my ears, nose, or throat, also an Endocrinologist who believed my im not truely hypothyroid.
Good morning I'm being treated for pneumonia just started antibiotics last nite feeling a lol worse off but my question is walking pneumonia contagious......it's funny but ct images showed fluid on right lung and I have side pain ouchee! But now more symptoms are appearing.
