this drug is same family as Rosiglitazone (Avandia) which has been foud active on hbsag and hbvdna, question is does TZD lower hbsag since decrease of hbsag inibits cancer growth too and if lowered to und eradicate hbv?
Is the pitting edema progressive? Are you on pioglitazone? or rosiglitazone? Answers to these questions would further help.

As I mentioned above, she was given new medicined once she experienced high blood sugar level few weeks back. She was given Metformin (850 mg) and Pioglitazone (30Mg per day). Once she started experiencing low blood sugar level, the doctor stopped giving Pioglitazone and asked to continue Metformin with few other medicines and the my mother was told that she experiencing such low levels of sugar due to Pioglitazone.

So NASH is a very serious medical condition which requires expert medical care for the best prognosis.
For women who are unresponsive to clomiphene,the oral hypoglycemic agents like metformin could be of little help, or pioglitazone, may bring resumption of regular cycles and ovulation. These agents reduce the hyperinsulinemia and hyperandrogenemia in PCOS.

Nowadays doctors are stopping to use metformin kindly read and do some r&d. Initially even i was on Metformin for PCOD and my doctor suggested to stop it.

as I do have PCOS and do not ovulate regularly. This last pregnancy I was on clomid to help ovulation and then we did an IUI... which was successful at getting me pregnant... but I just can't seem to keep being pregnant. It is very frustrating. My first pregnancy was my only successful one.. and I have a wonderful 6 year old... but since then I have not been able to maintain a pregnancy.... Is there a way to find out why I seem to be miscarrying so early all the time??

I have been up all night reading about this and it has jusy gotten me stressed and the only thing i read was to change my diet and try to lose weight. I guess that is my next step and i will see how this goes. My doctor didnt even give me too much info thats why im so confused i had no idea where to begin.
