Many physicians are not comfortable prescribing multiple weight loss medications at the same time out of concern for increased risk of side effects. Also keep in mind that phentermine is not generally recommended in the long term. It may make more sense to just stick with one of the weight loss medications to see if there are any beneficial effects. It's also a good time to think carefully about how the weight loss occurred while on the new medication.
I have been taking Phentermine for about a week and I have a lot of red, ichy bumps (they look and are symptomic as mosquito bites generally behave). If I didn't know better I would think they were mosquito bites! They are contained on my torso, sides and back - these presented after about 3 days on Phentermine, and I cannot belive that I would end up with 30+ mosquito bites in one day - they all appeared overnight. Can this be a reaction to the Phentermine?
I'm in the process of switching to a new dentist and the new patient form I had to fill out asked "Have you ever taken any combination of the drug known as 'fen-phen'. This includes phentermine (Adipex, Fastin, etc) and/or fenfluramine (Pondimin)." What does it matter if I have taken this? I haven't taken fen-phen, but I have and do occasionally take phentermine?
I guess I am afraid of diet pills after the ruckus with Phen-phen. I was assured Redux was VERY safe--no adverse side effects I have since learned I have pul. Hypertension and 3 damaged heart valves.This causes depression when I think about it. I was a hospice nurse. I am on Wellbutrin among others. I have NO desire to eat. I simply eat to live. My dr. recently prescribed Metformin (500 mg 2x/day) and Phentermine (37.5 mg/day). I started the meds approximately a week ago. I was told the Phen would give me all of this energy and that the Metformin would keep me in the bathroom a lot until my body adjusted, but I have had neither really. The first couple of days on the Phen I had a boost of energy, which I loved, but it quickly faded. I am now constantly tired, no matter how much sleep I get.
No its not the same, you have to be careful with ordering phentermine online, lots of places sell pills, but it is not phentermine, and its not the same either. Most places have similar spellings, such as phentramine, it kind of tricks people who do not pay attention.

Since 2009 I have been taking 37.5 Phentermine pills consistently with minor breaks and recently my chest has been giving me trouble. Adipex is phentermine, a mild stimulant that was in the news some time ago for being half of 'fen-phen', a weight loss cocktail that caused heart valve damage. Nowadays you will see a great deal of talk online about 'phen-pro', a combination of phentermine and prozac that is used for weight loss.
Not sure on the phentermine. I took phen two different times and never noticed a change in mood. but, it being a stimulant I would guess your mood should begin to recover in about 7-10 days. Of course for you to get back to 100%, may take up to 3 months.

I decided to go to a local Weight Loss Clinic because I had already exhausted my options, and they prescribed 30mg of Phentermine as an appetite suppressant.
I didn't really realize the risk of dependency or how powerful this drug could be. I went from 150 lbs to 140 lbs in about a month and have stayed there, although that isn't my ideal weight. However, I didn't want to become addicited or reliant on a Rx.
The closest I come is A 159 with matching shape and colors. It's phentermine, a type of speed used for weight loss (not effectively for long-term results). This was part of the controversial phen fen a few years ago. If you take enough of it, you could get a buzz off of it if that's what it is. R 59, on the other hand, is lorazepam, a benzo. You could get a buzz off that, too, very sedating relaxant.
By May I gained 3lbs, and Phen-phen (30mg) was added to my regimen. By mid-June I gained another 2lbs, and my doctor took me off the Levothyroxine. I am seeing a nutritionist, still on the Phen-phen, and a daily Vitamin B shots. By July 23rd, gained 2.4 lbs; no longer on Levothyroxine, still seeing the nutritionists and I am back to being extremely fatigue, lightheaded, chronic itchness, and not focused(it seems as my brain and mouth are at a disconnect). How much phentermine is too much? I took 8 (37.5) today all spaced out about 2 per 6 hours. I can't sleep and I am really thirsty but that seems to be about it. I just don't want to overdose.
I have been taking Phentermine for almost 3 years now. Taking more than I should daily for the past year. I'm taking 3 sometimes 4 a day 37.5mg. The money and the secrects are really starting to affect my marriage. Now after a week on phentermine they reappeared. I have stopped the phentermine and have been dosing on antihistamines hoping I do not have to go back to the allergist for the cyclosporin again. I will give it another week but then I head for the cure.
