I was prescribed Duromine (slow-release resin of phentermine) 30mg (so not the fast acting 37.5mg Adipex-P a lot are familiar with).
I don't know this doctor very well as mine has retired, and he is aware of my medical history obviously, and my struggle with weight loss as well as my attempt to keep my diet as healthy as I can (despite occasionally messing up from time to time due to lethargy, stress from work and genuine hunger...)
Can I trust that my blood pressure won't skyrocket??
i am taking 30mg of duromine a day, is it safe to take with 100mg fluvoxamine? i havent been feeling any side effects at all but do i need to stop the duromine? or cut down to 15mg? i had a severe crash in feb 2010 with several broken bones and internal injuries and a closed head injury and TBI.
I am currently taking prescribed Duromine for weight loss. The main ingredient is Phentermine. After a search on its side effects (which i did not see previously when I read them) I have found that it can cause pulmonary hypertension (PPH).
Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone else has taken these two drugs together. I have been on 80mg (very high dose) of Citalapram for many years. After struggling with weight loss my doctor has prescribed Duromine. After reading that combining the two on low doses is dangerous I'm a bit weary of taking the Duromine.
ok so i was perscribed Duromine 30mg and found after 2 weeks something was not right at all so oi went off it it has now been 3 weeks on and i have so much energy i can not sleep longer then 2 to 3 hours but i wak up feeling like i have slept for 12 and full of energy. my legs from my knee to my toes (both) are freezing all the time the are swallon and some discomform manly from feeling like ice.

After 14 years fighting Bipolar and believing i am treatment resistant ( I tried everything ) I have recently tried another Antidepresent,Was working well except for extreme tiredness so my doctor put me on Duromine ( a weight loss drug ) to give me energy.Did reseach and this drug is noted mot to be used on people with mental illness however i tried it and my life is changing.I am happy,energetic and motivated.
how bad is duromine for me? What is the long term solution? Can duromine be taken long term at low dose for stability?
I've just started taking duromine 40mg to lose a few kilos. I don't want anyone at work to know, but my pupils are big and I look different even after two days.
m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

I starting using the phentermine after i stopped using cocaine after 15 years and gained a lot of weight. dr. 1st prescribed to loose weight because he did not know I was a recovering addict, and wala plecibo! I feel all i did was trade the illegal drug for a legal one, although i have purchased phentermine off the internet for years.

Phentermine can alter your blood sugar levels, if you are going to try using it please use it with caution and monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently... if you notice changes and if your blood sugars are becoming too low then stop taking phentermine, and seek further advice about what you could use instead of phentermine. Remember that diabetes should be your priority.

I'm on 30mg phentermine. ive been taking it for 3 weeks now. lost 4lbs, ate one good meal, and gained it back all in one day. I was down to salads and water, with no results what so ever. It also makes me very, very sleepy. I need to lose the weight, but nothing working.. any comments anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
I decided to go to a local Weight Loss Clinic because I had already exhausted my options, and they prescribed 30mg of Phentermine as an appetite suppressant.
I didn't really realize the risk of dependency or how powerful this drug could be. I went from 150 lbs to 140 lbs in about a month and have stayed there, although that isn't my ideal weight. However, I didn't want to become addicited or reliant on a Rx.
I have been taking Phentermine for about a week and I have a lot of red, ichy bumps (they look and are symptomic as mosquito bites generally behave). If I didn't know better I would think they were mosquito bites! They are contained on my torso, sides and back - these presented after about 3 days on Phentermine, and I cannot belive that I would end up with 30+ mosquito bites in one day - they all appeared overnight. Can this be a reaction to the Phentermine?
How much phentermine is too much? I took 8 (37.5) today all spaced out about 2 per 6 hours. I can't sleep and I am really thirsty but that seems to be about it. I just don't want to overdose.
ve had all the symptoms quite severely for the past couple of years now). I have started taking Duromine 40mg roughly two weeks ago (took the 30mg for a month before that). Started at 69kg at 165cm. 2-3 weeks into taking the 30mg I was I longer feeling any side effects at all including appetite suppression. After a month of taking it I was down to about 65kg.
I started taking Phentermine 30 mg daily on Feb 4, 2009. To date I have not lost a pound. Infact I gained a 2 lbs. I have increased my exercise on my Elliptical (30-60min/day) and started to eat healthier. How long does it take for phentermine to kick in? Any advice? Anything I should say to my physcian?
I have done Phentermine and Fastin and other pills and patches and things you put in your coffee and stuff you do every other day and on and on....
Feb 15, 2011- I decided enough was enough. I finally accepted that to lose weight, I will have to actually Get Up Off The Couch and DO something. I started by walking on a treadmill (started at a mile) and now I am up to 2 miles. I have cut out 99% of sodas and sweet tea. No junk food.
