In January of 2015 I started taking Phentermine in just 3 months I lost a total of 50 lbs it was amazing than I became pregnant and had my baby in December of 2015 I breast fed her for 2 months than I decided to start back with phentermine to my surprise Phentermine was no longer helping me I was doing exactly what I did in the beginning 1200 calories a day 30 min work out 3 times a week but I would get crazy hungry at night I felt light headed and even though I worked out I still felt so lazy
I can't comment on the thyroid concerning med's at all.
I do know that you should be questioning the phentermine though. I take BP med's for my blood pressure and went on phentermine ~1 1/2 years ago to loose weight as a last choice thing. I took 1/2 doses due to the incline in my BP and was having chest pains. I did loose 51 pounds in 6 months in which was great, plus full of energy while on it. Though in the last year it has all came back, plus now my energy level has sunk.
Joined a gym, took vitamins for energy and well being. Eat healthy . Little by little had the will to leave phentermine for once and for all. I listened to the signs around me and made the change before it was too late. Legal or not legal anything substance we depend on will destroy us. If ur someone like me that is going thru this. ..know that "it can get better " you have to make the choice. Pray. Hope is there , your not alone.

I'm a 40yr old woman who is 70lbs overweight. I take .25mg Atenolol and would like to know if it would be safe to take Fastin. I am on a heathy eating plan and incorporating exercise 4-5x wk. However the weight isn't coming off and I'm low on energy 99% of the time. Can you advise?
I am getting annoyed, because I have no energy, and the phentermine only gave me energy for about a week or two, until I was put on that terrible synthroid for 6 months. I am not sure what to do at this point.
I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.
Phentermine did help for me I took it for 2 weeks and lost 11lbs. It gave me more energy and curved my appetite. I stopped taking it to see if I could continue on my own and now I lost 30lbs.
Before I started my diet pill (Fastin) I was always so tired & no energy to do anything.. I have severe sleep apnea so dr says thats why. After I started Fastin, I was amazed at how good I felt. I started Phentermine and B-12 in Feb 2012 I lost 4lbs the first two weeks. 6.5 lbs the 2nd two weeks and none the 3rd two weeks. It then took me 3 weeks to lose 3 more lbs. How much phentermine is too much? I took 8 (37.5) today all spaced out about 2 per 6 hours. I can't sleep and I am really thirsty but that seems to be about it. I just don't want to overdose.
thanks, i started taking tenex for aspergers, its taking away some of my energy, but i knew that any drug that promises energy has to be related in some way shape or form to speed, and i just cannot tollerate that stuff

m wondering is why you feel the need to see a diet doctor to get your arthritis under control? You only have energy when you take the phentermine because your body is used to the dosage that you ingest. When the phentermine is wering off, your body feels that it needs more of it, and you feel sluggish, and out of energy. it's common for your body to become tolerant to medications. You must talk with your doctor about this also, as it's very important.
I've been taking phentermine for 4 days now. The first day I felt good,lots of energy everything was fine. On the second day I didn't have the same affect.I actually don't feel to well.I haven't been hungry intil today.Been feeling warm in the face and sometimes my ears feel hot. Is this normal? My dr. recently prescribed Metformin (500 mg 2x/day) and Phentermine (37.5 mg/day). I started the meds approximately a week ago. I was told the Phen would give me all of this energy and that the Metformin would keep me in the bathroom a lot until my body adjusted, but I have had neither really. The first couple of days on the Phen I had a boost of energy, which I loved, but it quickly faded. I am now constantly tired, no matter how much sleep I get.
Back in June this year (2010), I started taking Phentermine for weight loss. About a week into the treatment I had an intensely itchy hive wheal on my right hand and also itchy skin on the backs of my legs just under my buttocks. I thought it could have been a dust allergy because I know I'm allergic to dust, among many other things. I went off the Phentermine, and the wheal never went away, but it didn't bother me too much either.
I was prescribed Duromine (slow-release resin of phentermine) 30mg (so not the fast acting 37.5mg Adipex-P a lot are familiar with).
I don't know this doctor very well as mine has retired, and he is aware of my medical history obviously, and my struggle with weight loss as well as my attempt to keep my diet as healthy as I can (despite occasionally messing up from time to time due to lethargy, stress from work and genuine hunger...)
Can I trust that my blood pressure won't skyrocket??
Hello I just wanted to let you know what worked for me. I lost 75 lbs with the Phentermine and b12 diet program along with healthy eating and excersize it is a really good program. In order to get on the program you have to talk to your doctor he/she may offer it if not get a list of doctors from your health insurance and start calling to see if any of them offer it. Is it OK to use phentermine and levothyroxine together? If not what diet medications are safe to use with levothyroxine? I suffer with such low energy, even though my levels are good.
