I get stringy mucous in my eyes.My doctor gave me patanol but it only worked for 6 days.It has only .01 strenght.Would a stronger strenght relieve my eye symptoms?

I used both prescription for 5 days, but then I switch to another ophthalmology office, he said change medication don't used the medication that previous Dr prescript to me. Start using Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension USP, 0.3%/0.

I bought a bottle of Patanol eye drops about a month and three weeks ago, I found the box a couple days ago and noticed on the box that it says discard thirty days after opening... The expiry date on the bottle says 01-2011.. Is this bad that I used the eye drops three weeks after it was suppose to be discarded? I only used three quaters of the bottle. I paid a little over fifty dollars for this little 5 mL bottle.... But what can you do....
The only change I have made in my life style is to take Patanol eye drops for allergy eyes. I have been using them once daily for 4 months. Could it be that this antihistamine can be causing this increase in my blood pressure? I am allergic to the drugs used for controling blood pressure and prior to this successfully lowered my pressure by exercise and diet.It is normal for me to have a reading of 130 over 80. I had pink eye about 4 weeks ago and was given eye drops to use Sulfacetamide Sodium Ophthalmic Solution USP. Now my eye lids (the one that had pink eye is the worse) are swollen, pink and itch like HE**. They are crusty and burn, and I have wrinkles in the corner of my eyes and my lids seem to droop I also have a huge bag under the eye that had pink eye. I dont know what has happen to me can someone plese help?
My doctor told me to use Patanol and Xiloial together. But she said İ should use one of them first, then apply the other. Cuz one of them is gel or whatever. But now i cant remember which one she said that İ should use first. Can you please help me?

Last night, after reading so much information here, I happened to remember I had a bottle of Patanol in the medicine cabinet and I used it. I may be guilty of wishful thinking but it seemed like my eye felt dramatically better.
I used the Patanol again this morning and so far so good.
You could try as wet warm compress on your eye or try rinsing with saline solution, the cold could have gone into your eye..
t wear them when my eyes get like this) I went to a doctor (the last time my eyes got all red) and he gave me (Polymyxin B Stilfate and Trimethoprin Ophthalmic solution USP) drops.. they made my eyes look like someone poured blood in them. So I stopped using it. All I am doing now is wearing my glasses. my right eye feels like someone punched it. What is wrong? I am so depressed about my cataract surgery in November 28th of 2012. I now cannot see far or near and the worst thing I now see ghost images. My eye doctor has put me on Pilocarpine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution twice a day for two week's then come back in for another check up. She said it is because I have a lot of astigmatism in my right eye and it often affect's the outcome of surgery. Do I have to live with this problem for the rest of my life?
I am currently experiencing exactly what the photo shows. A puffiness in the corner of both eyes. It's probably seasonal allergies, but this is the first time I am getting this. I tried cool and also hot compresses with a washcloth. I put in eye drops (Azelastin hydrocloride) Ophthalmic solution. It's a little better but still there. I think I will try a to take some benadryl if it doesn't get better soon. I may have to seek professional help.

My eyes become itchy and watery. I have used patanol in the past but the eye Dr is now recommending patasol which is very expensive. I want to try Zyrtec d instead of Zyrtec which gives me some releif. Any other suggestions are appreciated.
Systane, Blink, Refresh, Soothe and something for allergies like Patanol or Pataday. If your allergy is bad enough to require a steroid then lotemax, or pred mild would be better choices.
The drops we were given are Atropine Sulfate Ophthalmic Solution 1%. If her eyes will be dilated this long or longer with one drop, how are we to give them to her once a day for 5 days? I am guesing you cannot give them when the eye is still dilated right?? I called her eye doctor yesterday, and they said it was ok, and not to worry, but I am. I tried to call again today, but no one will answer. I even called they pharmacy, but they were no help.
Last week a neurologist diagnosed me an ophthalmic migraine, he said that there is nothing I could do and that I should get used to. I was wandering if the symptoms fits since I don't have any headaches. I apologize for my mistakes, I don't talk much english. I would really appreciate your help.
