So I have been taking Paroxetine(Paxil) for 4 months now and it changed my life, took away my O.C.D. and my social anxiety. But i had side effects so i started taking Bupropion(wellbutrin) So after 1 days dose which was 1 pill twice a day, I had my O.C.D. back about half as bad and my social axiety came back about half as bad. So i stopped taking the Bupropion and i am still taking the Paroxetine but it's not working as well as it did before.
I did lower the dose of propavan to half from previous days, I did feel more energetic than the previous days and I lowered the dose of Paroxetine 4-5 days before. Fluoxetine has a longer half life so that it is day 8 or 9 now since I lowered makes sense. And I probably, have to check, had a litte more mani a that day. And this time I also had been taking Alimemazin- so that might at least partly explain why it got so bad this time around.
In the last seven years my health went down a lot. I have ibs-c, varicose veins, chronic fatigue, brain fog, lack of attention, poor memory. Failing repeatedly to improve at work I talked to my doctor who sent me to a psychiatrist, which decided that I'm depressed and gave me paroxetine, 10mg a day and lecithin. After 5 days of treatment I woke up in the morning like a new man.
Hello. I've recently been changed from Paroxetine to Zoloft as am looking to try for a baby and this is supposed to be 'safer'. My doctor has changed me over gradually. I took Paroxetine 20mg for 2 weeks plus Sertraline/Zoloft 50mg, then went to Paroxetine 10mg and Sertraline/Zoloft 50mg and 2 days ago I've stopped Paroxetine altogether and am now just on Zoloft 50mg...I'm off work today as I'm so depressed. All I want to do is cry and lay in bed.
I’ve suffered from aura migraines most of my life. At 21, I just got a prescription for a preventative medication from my new neurologist. He Chose Elavil 25mg. I am also on a list of medications, one of which being Paxil 40mg. The first night I started taking Elavil, I felt different. I slept for 3 days straight, couldn’t go to work because of the dizziness and sleepiness as well. Here is my problem.

It did reduce my anxiety. I slept better, deeper, and longer. A life-long stutterer, it cut my stuttering by 50-75%, and improved how I was viewed at work (I believe), by my calmness, better speech, and ability to focus. I had suffered from significant anxiety my whole life up to that point.
Combining fluoxetine or paroxetine with phenytoin can also lead to increased phenytoin side effects and reduce blood levels of paroxetine.

t function without paroxetine, I have been weaned off once and I was not too bad for 2 months but the Anxiety did return and I couldn't eat or function at all, lost a stone before I went back onto paroxetine.
I was trying for a baby, I will wait for a while now. BUT I want kids however I can't do it without meds i'm affraid, None of my Drs seem to know what's safe and what's not and they don't want to make any comments about it yet.
Has anyone been perscribed Paroxetine for their neuropothy symptoms? I saw my physiatrist last week for the increasing pain I am having related to my syrinx. He advised me to check back in with my NS, and gave me a script for Cymbalta. Apparently, this anti-depressant also works on nerves. I'm definitely not a depressed person - so I had my reservations for Cymbalta, but the pharmacist re-assured me that my dr prescribed it for neuro issues.

I've been on Paxil, i.e. Paroxetine for about 6 years now. I ran out about 5 days ago. As has happened in the past after quitting Paxil my sleep is interrupted with such stressful nightmares. I mean I wake up and I am either screaming and my heart rate goes sky high. I am a about 3 days from when i can get another refill. I don't think i can make it and have so much to do this week during the day. When I call my doctors office and especially on call, they go berzerk.

My wife had BC, she has already had the chemo and surgery and is now on the part of the treatment focused on preventing recurrence (herceptin and tamoxifen). She had been taking paroxetine for the last two years. Now she started to see the psychiatrist at the cancer centre (the one who routinely sees cancer patients) and the dr advised her to change the paroxetine for another antidepressant.
Hi, I just need a bit of advice. My meds are 30mgs Remeron, 30mgs Paroxetine 150mgs WellbutrinSR and
300mgs Lithium. The Wellbutrin and the Lithium are 3x daily.
My question is how can I get over the severe fatigue I experience one to two hours after taking the morning dose?
I'm open to all suggestions.

I have been suffering from anxiety and depression on and off for a few years now and have just got over my recent bout with the help of a small dose of paroxetine. I have had four months off work and decided to quit my last job and start a more low key job elsewhere. I started my new job 3 weeks ago and have felt fine, until the last week when i feel like my anxiety is returning. I am due on my period, so not sure if this is the cause?
I had a severe allergic reaction to Citalapram and was taken off and had to wait for my appointment with the psychiatrist which was a week and a half ago. He perscription for Buspirone and Paroxetine. I didn't start taking the medicine right off the bat because of fear that i was going to have another bad reaction and ended up having another attack last night. I started taking the Buspirone this afternoon and was wondering how i should take it and the Paroxetine.
I took the paroxetine that did well for a while then the cipralex that does not do anything to me is so confused.After that I did insomnia, the doctor giving me the zolpidem which obviously and that made me sick I am very scared.

Also, it sounds like you are certain that you have anxiety and depression, and that is what the paroxetine is for. And paroxetine does not particularly have a reputation for keeping people awake at night, at least not that I have ever heard of. So I don't know about getting off paroxetine and staying on the amphetamine, when you're not sure you even have ADHD, and amphetamines are well known for causing insomnia.
