Well, strattera "increases norepinephrine (NRI) stimulant-like action but lasts all day. Not a controlled substance. No direct dopamine effect so may be better tolerated." So it does have a stimulant effect. However, it "Takes 2 to 4 weeks for maximum effects." And you are no where near the point of it working the way it should.

It's possible that you have nodules that are leaking hormone independently of the thyroid gland itself. This can swing you from hypo to hyper very quickly.
How long will I have to take pantoprazole 40mg/day for my acid reflux? Will I ever be cured from acid reflux hence no more medicine OR this is a life time thing which means continued use of daily medicine?
t doing well and you raised them on your own to see if it would help which is never a good idea? What is the dose that you are taking? What dose did you take today? I could give you some more information then. But more importantly if you are starting to feel sick then you might have taken above what is the reccomended maximum dosage and clearly you are encountering some side effects.
You have researched well and possibility of GERD are the maximum. It is unlikely to be thoracic outlet syndrome. The treatment of acidity and GERD involves taking a proton pump inhibitor such as omeprazole, lansoprazole or pantoprazole empty stomach in the morning. Possibility of H pylori infection too should be looked into and a combination antibiotic tried.
Along with it you can try over the counter antacids.
max effective dose..........been on 20mg for 3 weeks............. wonderred if i would need more or just more time. worried if i take more i will be even more anxious, anyway i have an appt tomorow with psychiatrist so that is good timing i can ask her!
I stopped taking the pills cause it said that prolonged magnesium deficiency can cause serious heart problems. Since then I take Zantac, it does next to nothing even though I take 4 maximum strengths a day, and I pop tums all day, but the heart palpitations have gone away. Not really sure what my next move is going to be. Maybe after 6 months of this I can go back to the protonx for a while.

I am being weaned from pantoprazole with ranitidine. It seems that now that we have reached the pantoprazole every third day stage, I am getting weekly bouts of diarrhea, especially if I drink more than one cup of coffee. Is this a side effect? The diarrhea wakes me at night.
If you have a 20 mGy exposure, then that is the maximum dose any tissue in the path of the radiation can recieve. In reality that is the dose exposed to at the skin on the beam side, and the dose decreases with tissue depth as some of the radiation is absorbed at each level as it penetrates tissue and is therefore gone and cannot expose the deeper tissues.
Doctors prescribed to many antibiotics which led to my acid reflux. Got on pantoprazole for the reflux, it’s been working great but in the last week I’ve had this pins and needles sensation in my legs feel nauseous and I can’t seem to shake that somethings wrong with me. What is low-dose CMF? My OncoTypeDX was 12 and I am node neg. Estrogen pos progesterone neg Stage one breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy 12/20 and must decide on chemo(low-doseCMF) or not. I know what each drug is, but what is the low-dose part? If it's low-dose, do I really need it? I am going to do hormone therapy for 5 yrs and radiation.
however, there is a new lower maximum recently released that states 2,600 mg per day is the maximum. The maximum single dose of tylenol that can be taken safely is 1,000 mg.
The oxycodone-acetaminophen that you are taking contains in each pill 5 mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetaminophen (aka tylenol). Make sure that you tally up the acetaminophen in each pill you take over the day and make sure that you don't exceed 1,000 mg in a single dose and 2,600 mg per day.
I just had a pneumonia almost 2 months ago and i had ulcer last November but already been cured by pantoprazole domperidone. Now i feel like my ulcer reoccured again coz im having heartburn,stomach pain and bloating
and nauseous. My question is can i take pantoprazole again even though i just had pneumonia and still having shortness of breath and chest pain? Pls help coz i dont know what really is the cause of my difficulty in breathing is it from having pneumonia or my ulcer.
I should also mention that I had a clear colonoscopy which is great. However, the pain never really seemed to be lower- it's between my navel and rib cage often radiating to my back. The diarrhea is sticky and either black or grey and it burns. I tested negative for occult blood. Rarely with the dry heaving fits do I vomit, but when I do it is dark purple or greyish.
