Avatar m tn This is a question for your pharmacist as I could not locate "IP". Normally USP is Rx'd. Amaryl [glimepiride] tablets come in various forms and colors. The letters IG [eye gee] is imprinted on three tablets [blue, pink, green] to designate strength.
Avatar f tn As you live in the US, then look for the USP (US Pharmacopeia) verified label. The currently accepted standard for USP is that the tablets must dissolve within 15 to 30 minutes of being in the stomach. The chewable gummy vitamins sounds like it would be effective as you are breaking it down before swallowing.

Avatar m tn I can’t empty my bowel, there is inflammation in my rectum and doctor after colonoscopy said it must be proctitis, and gave some medicines “ Ciproxin 500 (ciprofloxacin), Metronidazole tablets USP 500mg, NT-TOX (NITAZOXANIDE)”, by taking the pills I instantly got cured, but by the time the medicines were finished, again I have the same problem. So whenever I have antibiotics its inflammation goes away, but when I don't consume antibiotics it comes back.
Avatar f tn I get horrible heartburn whether I eat and/or drink or not. I take Ranitidine tablets USP 150mg. It's cheaper than the brand names and it's safe, however a tolerance may be built up to it. It has for me, anyway, so I keep a big bottle of Tums next to me. Laying down seems to intensify the burn too!

Avatar m tn I do have Gastritis (inflamed stomach) verified by Upper Endoscopy and have had it for over a month, but unsure if it is related. I'm on Pantoprazole 40mg twice per day and Famotidine 20mg three times per day, but they're both acid reducers.

Avatar n tn The doctor prescribed me 40mg of pantoprazole to take once a day. I started the treatment and on the third day the chest pain had miraculously gone away. On the seventh day I went to a pulmonoligs to get tested for asthma and they made me use an a nebulizer that contained albuterol, something I may be allergic to. The difficulty breathing came back from using the nebulizer and so did the chest pain. On the ninth day of being on the bland diet, I decided it would be safe to drink matcha.
Avatar m tn The doctor recommended vitamin D, E supplements and some tablets for the esinophil which I completed the entire course. Another doctor recommended sertagress - 25 (Sertaline HCL 25 mg) and Ativan 1 mg (lorazepam 1 mg) tablets which I took for 6 months but they were not helping, had nasty side effects and I still had sleep issues, thus I tapered them off over 3 months. I am no longer taking sertagress or any sleep medicine.
