painful sex during pregnancy

Im 8 weeks pregant and for last few weeks I have been having pain during sex with my first pregnancy I did not experience this is this normal?

I am 29 weeks and I have been scared pretty much this whole pregnancy to have sex. Yes it is normal to feel this way but it is also normal and OKAY to have sex while pregnant unless your put at high risk or told otherwise by your ob.

It's very common for sex to be painful during pregnancy. Your boyfriend has to understand that. He's horrible for making you feel bad for something you have no control over. I suggest you explain it to him.

I almost never had sex during my first pregnancy because I found it painful too. But dint worry it really has no effect on labour. But trust me labour hurts more lol.

Could be a yeast infection. Call your doc and. Ask. Relax your muscles down there during sex and always use a good lubricant.

I was never told not to have sex during pregnancy. If its uncomfortable it can be from being pregnant. I would get really sore and swollen during or after. I believe its from hormones and blood supply to there. I also have had cramping during or after. That being said it can also be easier for you to orgasm too so it has pros and cons. Being too rough probably isn't a great idea, but the fluids around the baby are there to protect the baby.

Some women during pregnancy get um...dry down there...don't produce enough lubrication no matter how "ready" they are. Try a little lube.

We've been using 'conceive plus' lube because I figured it'd be safe in pregnancy if it's safe when you're trying to conceive.
