Avatar m tn That is NOT good for your dog. Watch for any odd behaviors, and be ready to go to the vet at anytime.
Avatar m tn My kid had his Nephrectomy (right) at his 1 year age and is adviced to undergo Urodynamics for analysing his bladder capacity. Need to know at what age is a urodynamics study suggestable in children. We feel like he is too young to undergo this study. Also, we are now using Oxybutynin - 2.5 mg per day through which he is able to sustain for 3 to 3.5 hours. If we stop using that, the child starts a little drizzling in drops. We are using this medicine since last 1 year.
Avatar f tn Can I take 2 or 3 Ibuprofen and 1 phenazoptridine 100mg and 1 oxybutynin 5mg The Dr, gave me Cipro to take 2 hrs, before I go to Drs, will this help me or not? If not what can I do to prevent the bad pain I hear about after stent removal. please help me.
Avatar f tn Funny enough you mention this I took Oxybutynin for awhile and a bit excessively, I keep thinking that this messed up my gut and caused this curse of a phenomenon.
Avatar f tn I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.
Avatar f tn Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. The heat seems to come in almost a wave, and I can feel it rising until it reaches my head(hope this description makes sense), and I can never seem to cool down. An odd part about this is, on occasion, my feet will be extremely cold at the same time.
Avatar f tn It affects mostly hands wrists elbows and occasionally feet. I also have marfan syndrome (mild) and have had cardiac ablation for 2 extra pathways through AV node still have an inappropriate sinus tachycardia. My question. I get parasthesias starting I'n my hands and feet starting a few hours after sun exposure. I try to minimize sun exposure but not always possible. After a sunny week parasthesias will last into the first few cloudy days. My rheumologist says he has never heard of this.
Avatar f tn Get your urologist or GP to prescribe you an anti-spasmodic medication. I use Oxybutynin, as it works best for me, but there are numerous others on the market. Are you sure your stone is 4cm??? That's awfully large for a kidney-stone. There are 'staghorn' stones that form inside the kidney itself and fill the cavities of the kidney (the 'poles' of the kidney) that may get that large, but the chances of having a 4cm stone in your bladder are slim.
Avatar f tn I've been taking Lovastatin for 2 months. For the past couple of weeks I've been experiencing aching kidneys and I'm very tired. I had blood work done today for follow up of the drug and notified the doctor that I had this problem. My body temperature is 96.8, which I realize is a bit low, but perhaps normal? Could the achiness be due to the Lovastatin? I'm quite concerned about this and have had kidney problems as a child.
Avatar n tn My 7 y.o. is awaiting a pediatric urology appt but is currently taking oxybutynin 10 mg. After months of her primary thinking it was vag related, a ped gyn dx'd bladder contraction/spasms. These are daily... all day... and now waking her in the night. She is going half crazy from the constant discomfort, which she eases by pressing on her vag area. This is interfering, of course, with her everday life.
461014 tn?1233100391 My 6yr old still has issues with wetting the bed at night and having accidents during the day. We have had her tested quite a few times in the past few years for bladder infections and we have even tried Oxybutynin. The doctor can never seem to find any "problems" that are causing her to have these accidents. He just says she should out grow it. But it's only seeming to get worse. She wets the bed almost everynight and she's been having more than one accident a day at school.
Avatar f tn What treatments have worked for you? The Dr. recently put me on Vesicare, but I heard it has some bad side effects, anyone have any opinions or thoughts on that?
Avatar f tn Also I urinat about 20 times a day and about 15 times at night yes I have tried vesicare and oxybutynin. I also have just had a bladder distention but all this was going on before the bladder distention.
Avatar f tn So my kids will stay with friends if he comes earlier.. Did any of you with older kids pack overnight bags for them in advance or just wing it when/if it became necessary?
Avatar m tn I am 40 and have been a monogamous marriage for over 10 years. I cannot imagine how this could be an STD of any sort since I have not been with anybody else for over 13+ years (ie...The web instantly leads you in that direction). i went to a doctor several times, they checked my urine, did psa test, did post void ultrasound and said everything is normal.
Avatar f tn Hi all, a bit about my history, have had an overactive bladder treated for about last 20 years with oxybutynin and whilst not perfect, everything was fine to live a normal lifestyle, play sports, gym, go out drinking etc, I’m now 38, male. A couple of years ago I felt like what was a trapped nerve around my coccyx area and was unable to sit down for a couple of days, the pain was excruciating.
Avatar n tn I am a 42 year old female who experience pain after urination that last approx 5 to 10 minutes, I have had a bladder scan and no abnormalities was reveal and was placed on Oxybutynin 5mg twice a day and phenazopyridine hcl 100mg three times a day for a month now and the same pain continues. Why do I experience pain after urination.
Avatar f tn I was scheduled for a ureteroscopy on the 15th. When I woke from anesthetic I was told my ureter was too small tohave the procedure and a stent was placed in my ureter in hopes of making it large enough to have the ureteroscopy in 10 to 14 days. Is this considered standard protocol? Is it considered a birth defect to have an unusually small ureter? Are there anythings that can be done to help alleviate the awful pain I'm in from the stent. My dr never mentioned I would have pain.
Avatar f tn A doctor who was a MD looked at my genital and said looks like no disease but some yeast infection it looks dry,she asked me if I am diabetic, then I explained the situation what I did with it,she was assuming i myself cause the problem with the sanatizer and later she took tests for STD and it came back negative, but mean while I had frequent urination and sudden diarrhea for 3 days and when I went back for second visit the doc said she will see my urine in microscope and results still normal no
