Avatar f tn I would also call an emergency vet to let them know what happened. Depending on what could happen because of the ingestion of the pill, it could be that your dog needs supportive care, and the sooner this care is begun, the more successful it will be.
Avatar f tn Hello Everyone, I am a 32 male, 5'10, 205lbs. I work out 5-6 times a week and eat on the healthier side. As far back as I can remember I get hot extremely easily and sweat profusely on my forehead, middle of my chest, and middle of my back. The heat seems to come in almost a wave, and I can feel it rising until it reaches my head(hope this description makes sense), and I can never seem to cool down. An odd part about this is, on occasion, my feet will be extremely cold at the same time.
Avatar f tn Funny enough you mention this I took Oxybutynin for awhile and a bit excessively, I keep thinking that this messed up my gut and caused this curse of a phenomenon.
Avatar f tn Can I take 2 or 3 Ibuprofen and 1 phenazoptridine 100mg and 1 oxybutynin 5mg The Dr, gave me Cipro to take 2 hrs, before I go to Drs, will this help me or not? If not what can I do to prevent the bad pain I hear about after stent removal. please help me.
Avatar f tn I'm 33 year old male, I was diagnosed with phimosis 2yrs ago. I've been having the constant urge to urinate but with only a low flow and sometimes spraying. I've been through testing for uti, std, bladder cancer (cystoscopy) but yet know one can give me an answer as to why I always have the urge. I've taken meds (flomax, oxybutynin, and diptromin) none of them worked. Help!!! I'm to young for this to be happening.
Avatar f tn I was in the hospital last week with a bad UTI and bladder infection, and I am still really hurting but everything I heard said once it hits the bladder it should not hurt. What should I do?
Avatar m tn He is active enough and good in all other aspects. Every six months we have the tests and assuring that the kidney growth and capacity is as per his age. At what age he will be cooperative for doing this test? Please advice whether the usage of medicine for longer period causes any side-effects in future. Also suggests any further care to be taken for the kid.

461014 tn?1233100391 Oh, and have her drink lots of water and cranberry juice - if she doesn't like the juice, they make cranberry pills that will clean the bladder very quickly. UTI has nothing on cranberries :) Maybe that will help with the odor/color. It sounds like her urine is just concentrated, nothing serious.
Avatar f tn Hi all, a bit about my history, have had an overactive bladder treated for about last 20 years with oxybutynin and whilst not perfect, everything was fine to live a normal lifestyle, play sports, gym, go out drinking etc, I’m now 38, male. A couple of years ago I felt like what was a trapped nerve around my coccyx area and was unable to sit down for a couple of days, the pain was excruciating.
Avatar f tn PS. The other drugs I'm taking are...Chlortalidone, Oxybutynin, and Lisinopril. I take cal/citrate, fish oil, flax and E along with those prescribed meds.
Avatar n tn My 7 y.o. is awaiting a pediatric urology appt but is currently taking oxybutynin 10 mg. After months of her primary thinking it was vag related, a ped gyn dx'd bladder contraction/spasms. These are daily... all day... and now waking her in the night. She is going half crazy from the constant discomfort, which she eases by pressing on her vag area. This is interfering, of course, with her everday life.
1335869 tn?1275658008 About five months ago, the strictures began causing problems of retention and a catheter has been reinserted using a flexi-scope to help. Now he is having problems with constantly feeling that he needs to pass urine. I feel that he is misinterpreting the presence of the catheter in his bladder as urine. Is there anything I can do to help him? He doesn't remember anything I say and is so uncomfortable!

4133020 tn?1350310377 If a person is used to a sedentary lifestyle, and suddenly starts exercising, they will notice profuse sweating, and edema in the hands and feet. I would start slowly, and work up to a walk, then to a run-walk, then to jogging... Begin with simple stabilization exercises. Balancing, short walks, etc, and speak to a trainer, and a dietitian. Often swelling, and temperature variations (Hot Flashes) can be the result of diet. Drink plenty of WATER!! NO SODA, SWEET TEA, or anything Manufactured!
Avatar m tn Recent studies have demonstrated the short- and long-term benefits of breastfeeding both for mothers and children. Breastfeeding, especially if exclusive and prolonged, leads to significant reduction in hospitalization rates for gastroenteritis, respiratory infections, and sepsis in the early months of life[18]. The benefits for low-resource countries are even greater because breastfeeding is related to better infant and childhood survival[19].
Avatar f tn It happened to me mine were 14 months apart I dodnt know I was pregnant cause I never got a period and was breastfeeding so watch out !
Avatar f tn s ok to take while breastfeeding, but what I read on the internet it says do not take while breastfeeding. I have a call out to the lactaction nurse but she has not called me back yet. Avatar f tn I had no pain or burning during urination. However, I tested positive for a urinary tract infection and began on pyridium and bactrim. My symptoms did not improve so I began on Levaquin for 10 days. Since then I have had an ultrasound of my kidneys, ovaries, and bladder, and everything was normal. My labwork was also normal. My symptoms did not improve and I began on Vesicare, which did not help, and now I am on Detrol LA. This does not seem to be helping either.
Avatar n tn I am a 42 year old female who experience pain after urination that last approx 5 to 10 minutes, I have had a bladder scan and no abnormalities was reveal and was placed on Oxybutynin 5mg twice a day and phenazopyridine hcl 100mg three times a day for a month now and the same pain continues. Avatar f tn When I woke from anesthetic I was told my ureter was too small tohave the procedure and a stent was placed in my ureter in hopes of making it large enough to have the ureteroscopy in 10 to 14 days. Is this considered standard protocol? Is it considered a birth defect to have an unusually small ureter? Are there anythings that can be done to help alleviate the awful pain I'm in from the stent. My dr never mentioned I would have pain.
Avatar m tn i went to a doctor several times, they checked my urine, did psa test, did post void ultrasound and said everything is normal. doctor prescribed some oxybutynin which after doing research, i found out is for overactive bladder, but i dont have any of the symptoms that i found listed for this condition. anyway, i was desperate so i said to doctor i will give it a try but there is no improvement whatsoever after taking pills for over 2 weeks. any idea?

Avatar m tn My problem is that now after the procedure im having some discomfort in my testicles and penis and it comes at random times through the day its like a mild stinging feeling but enough for me to be concerned. I still masturbate and I still have sex with my girlfriend regularly so I don't know if thats the problem or if this is a common side effect (Nothing online about this) I just need to know what I should do or if anyone has any info on this or maybe the same issue.
