Avatar n tn I think possibliy you mean ovarian cysts instead of ovarian fibriods as fibriods are assoicated with the Uterus and ovarian cysts are associated with the ovaries.
1148191 tn?1271817646 I ovulated around the 1st of March, for a week after that I had dull cramping in my left side and than 7 days later i started getting what felt like period cramps. I went to the doctors and come to find out I have a cyst on my ovary, my question is I still think I might be pregnant, just how common are ovarian cysts in early pregnancy and is it possible that if I'm having pregnancy symptoms that I could still be pregnant.
Avatar n tn I ended up taking 4 pregnancy test and all were negative, so we thought I might have an ectopic pregnancy, so I went and took an ultrasound and found out that I have a cyst on my ovaries and fibroids on my uterus and all they prescribed me was birth control pills with progesterone. I will start taking them Sun. but I still have not had a period, could something else be wrong...
Avatar f tn thenn tell me which medicine is used in pcos patients to regulate ovulation,,,what are the side effects of clomid???
Avatar n tn There is one kind of cyst that can give a positive pregnancy test, but it's really rare!! If you've taken tests before while having ovarian cysts and the result was negative, then I'm pretty positive you're positive!!
Avatar f tn Hello, Pregnancy can occur with ovarian cysts but not by the way you have described. Pregnancy can occur only when a sperm fuses with an ova or egg. For this the sperms need to be ejaculated inside the vagina or there should be entry of sperms inside the vagina which travel through the cervix and uterus to reach the egg in the fallopian tube. Sperms have a short life span once outside the body and lose their motility after exposure to air.
Avatar f tn I didn't start getting them until my second pregnancy (and I still get them in my third) mine usually went away on their own. I was told from my doc tht it my body would absorb it and the pain would stop. It did. But every woman is different, it never hurts to ask your doc if you have anymore questions.
Avatar f tn My husband and I have been trying for some time so I am getting really excited. Now, I have been reading online that pelvic pain is a symptom of ovarian cysts and that ovarian cysts can make a pregnacy test positive even if the woman isn't pregnant. Does anyone know anything about this? I am really hoping I am pregnant but after reading all that I am starting to feel discouraged. Please help. Thanks.
Avatar f tn Hello! I found this website on ovarian cysts, I hope you find it helpful...although I couldn't find any specific info on how/if ovarian cysts can hinder the ability to become pregnant. From my own experience, my first pregnancy detected a cyst on my left ovary. My OB said this was the ovary my egg attached too. Later in my pregnancy the cyst disappeared, this is very common.
362408 tn?1236441081 Fake posters want you to be mad. I know it was a waste of time, but don't pay it any attention. I personally don't know what you're talking about as I just got on here a bit ago and I keep getting up and cleaning and then checking messages, so I'm not "all here" at the moment. Try not to be angry and focus on what you're going through. Cysts won't affect a pregnancy, but as I said earlier, may affect how quickly you become pregnant.
Avatar f tn I had a huge cyst on my ovary in the beginning of my pregnancy they told me they were normal during pregnancy and that aren't harmful they actually feed the baby..
1131112 tn?1321040173 I know that many women get married with ovarian cysts and with only one ovary. Sometimes having an ovarian cyst may throw your hormones off and cause problems with your period. You best bet would be to see your gynecologist and sit down and have a long talk with him/her. Hopefully someone who has more experience with PCOS will come along and be able to give you more advice. Good luck!! Prayers!
Avatar f tn It makes NO difference if he ejaculates or not, you can still get pregnant. Take a pregnancy test with first morning urine, and you need to start using condoms and birth control until you're ready for children.
545669 tn?1214492031 its now three years after having an operation for cysts and have not mensurated and i wonder whether i am going to have kids or am so worried.

Avatar f tn Good afternoon. I just stumbled across this site after googling ‘ovarian cysts‘. I wondered if anyone out there has ever been in my (worrying) situation. I am 27 years old, a mummy to a beautiful 2 year old and 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I had an emergency scan around 6 weeks into this pregnancy due to pain on my right side. My GP feared an ectopic pregnancy. To my relief baby was fine. However, an 8cm side was found on my right ovary with a daughter cyst inside.
Avatar f tn I'm about a week late, today I took a test. It come up with one really dark line and the other is really faint. I've been having server pains in my ovaries (I have ovarian cysts). Does anyone know what the pain is from and is that test a negative?
Avatar n tn I hear that ovarian cysts have the same symptoms as pregnancy. Anyone have experience with them and can tell the difference?
Avatar n tn What is the difference between ovarian cysts and ovarian cancer. I haven't had a period for 3 months now and I have a sharp pain in my lower right side, as well as back pain, especially in the mornings. once in a while i am off balance when walking. i am bloated, and a lot of times i don't have an appetite.
367100 tn?1330914725 I had them before i got pregnant and i now have a small pregnancy cysts on my right ovary. The pregnancy cysts are nothing to worry about and should go at some point so my doctor said they sometimes get bigger or smaller but they are quite common when you are pregnant. Please read the info i found on the net for you:- Many women go for a routine ultrasound or pelvic examination early in their pregnancy and come away with the surprise finding of an ovarian cyst.
654396 tn?1237508912 1) ovarian cysts are pretty common during the early stages of pregnancy and in the vast majority of cases are benign. Cysts usually "go away" on after a few weeks but if the dont, the doctor might consider options but only if the cysts are large (usually 5-6 cm) or cause you pain 2) its possible, but there are other reasons for multiple cysts too 3) it would be unlikely, but not impossible 4) not sure about this one. When is your next doctors appointment?
Avatar f tn I have ovarian cysts and 2cm isn't that bad, but it also won't give you a false positive. My little ovaries are riddled with cysts, but the two times I've taken a pregnancy test and had them come back positive were because I was pregnant. Congratulations!
Avatar f tn I was on birth control for 2 years, and also have a past of ovarian cysts, and he would never pull out, and im currently 40 weeks and 3 days today, and getting induced tomorrow.

Avatar n tn what is the probability of getting pregnant and having a safe pregnancy as well as a healthy delivery and baby. when yyou have 10 ovarian cysts left from 12. can't get any surgery for removal. please someone help me...
Avatar f tn Ovarian cysts are very common and affect mainly women in their 30s and 40s. Women who are past menopause (ages 50-70) and have ovarian cysts have a higher risk of having ovarian cancer. The only way to diagnose ovarian cancer is looking at the cells under a microscope. There are tumour markers the doctors can test for called CA-125 and CA19-9 (both are blood tests) however numbers can be higher due to inflammation.
