Ovarian cysts that hang around too long are pretty common. As long as you're ovulating, they shouldn't impair fertility.

Cysts don't decrease your chances of getting pregnant. However, they cause great discomfort and pain. I had 2 big cysts 2 months ago. Hi everyone, so I'm pretty sure I get cysts when I ovulate. I've had a cyst rupture at ovulation time before and what I'm wondering is if this is the reason I am having trouble getting pregnant?? The month after the cyst ruptured I did end up pregnant but miscarried at about 4 weeks, that was in May this year and I had been ttc for 11 months before that and now again since the miscarriage. the only time i get the cysts or cyst is at ovulation.

Interesting. I have those same symptoms just started going to the bathriom more this week though. I have had cysts before but they were painful, nothing like what I'm feeling now. And the only time I have tender breasts is right befor or when my AF is on the way. Then the cramping I feel is not painful, just dull and of and on. The cysts didn't change my cycle much and maybe pushed it back a few days but always came heavy for the first 3 1/2 days then tapers off.

Now what is surprising is I have blocked tubes so wondering if I was really pregnant especially now cause I have had ovarian cysts since last year and they have been followed for months with transvaginal ultrasound. Hello, I was to get my period 2 days ago, but the last week I've ha horrible cramping that my whole body hurt I had moments of nausea but never actually puked. I had sex with my boyfriend yesterday and it really hurt up there by my tummy and was really uncomfortable, after I had some spotting so I thought hey my period so I threw a tampon in and continued on with my day, than later the tampon had a tiny brown spot on it an that's it.

Yes. Last year I was ttc for about 5 months and nothing. I new I could have kids cuz of my son but I thought something was wrong with me. Or my boyfriend. Then I was having pain in my stomach and weird cervical mucus and just felt sick and feverish. Went to the er and found out I had cysts and didn't know it. They bursted and I was put on pain meds but was OK. Was still ttc and the very next month I was pregnant. But unfortunately at 3 months I lost the baby.

HI, Since you have already ruled out issues of the colon, other causes that need to be kept in mind are pelvic infection or adhesion formation secondary to any previous surgery or infection and bladder issues. The ovarian cysts are not very large and may not be the reason for the pain. If no other cause is found after investigations then removal of the ovaries can be considered.
