Anything prescribed always comes with some sort of risk, if you are really worried about it you can try alternative methods like buy some ginger and chew on a piece or make it into tea, saltiness crackers, 7 up, there are a bunch of things just Google it and see what works for you

There are some lawsuits related to it recently, but my doctor said he's never had a patient with an issue. He's still cautious not to use it though and gave me B6 instead. However, I have several family members who took it for the entire 2nd and 3rd trimester and had no problems. And not to eat anything latter at night. Also I am taking ondansetron 4 mg, it says 1 every 8 hours or as needed for nausea and vomiting. But my problems is more cramping under my sternum, it becomes in the realm of 7-8 on a 1-10, pain scale. So I see no reason to take it, cramping seems to be different to me than nausea and vomiting, although at times my ribavirin does not want to stay down, this issue is also a relatively new problem.

ve tried over 10 on many different intervals and finally gave up and found a way, for me, that works to handle any of my depression issues. I do however, take Tramadol as it helps me immensely with the aches and pains and actually gives me a bit of a mood boost as well. I do not take the Tramadol that has acet./Tylenol in it. I take just the regular strength of Tramadol 50mg, not the ER. It works fine for me.

My doctor gave me ondansetron, it saved my life lol! I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I still throw up on the daily but its not as bad as a few weeks ago. The ondansetron has a grape flavor but it does make me gag, what I do is place it under my tongue and then swish with a huge gulp of ice cold water. I went to the er and got ondansetron (generic for zofran) but the doc prescribed it bc I literally kept nothing but one icee a day down. I got a script for 12 and thats it. All I know is they do not prescribe it to one indivodual in large quantities and that bc it can affect and stay in your blood for so long they have to monitor how much an individual gets.

Hi, You should talk to your doctor whetehr ondansetron would help with her nausea and vomiting as this is specifically used to control nausea , vomiting due to chemotherapy. I went threw this while taking Cymbalta. The nausea would come out of no where at times. Can you give your Dr a call in the morning to let him/her know about the nausea? Your Dr will let you know what you can safely take with Cymbalta.

I am not happy with taking drugs while pregnant but I have lost a extrem amount of weight and it has been stressed to me medication and iv fluids are absolutely necessary. So have been taking Ondansetron (Zofran) and another prochlorperazine. I am very scared of what I have heard about these two drugs and my huge question is what medications do you pregnant women out there trust???

Its a opiod and it has the same potential of abuse but low rates of abuse because people prefer hydrocodones and oxycodones. But tramadol is a little weaker opiod and it also works on your seratonin levels so its little different. So treat it as the vicoden if you are looking at tolerence and addiction. I have bad headaches, migraines and neck problems. No tumor but its pain that debilitates me and i am often left feeling lifeless and sorry for myself.
