Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex. Could this be because I am just now in the first month of the new pills or could this mean I am pregnant???
Earlier in May I missed three days of my pills and started to bleed. So I stopped taking it because I was going into my placebo week. I had my period then stopped for a day or two then started spotting that's never happen to me. I got my new pack and started taking them and now I feel nauseous as ever and I'm in my second week going to my third week...
When I was on Ocella I had the WORST breast pain for the full 2 weeks before my period. Due to the pain and the depression I suffered while on Ocella I switched to Reclipsen. I still have slight breast tenderness the week before my period, but it's so slight that it doesn't even bother my that much. Some months, I don't even have the pain at all.
Speak to your doctor if the pain doesn't subside during the next few cycles. You may need to switch brands.
Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.
My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years, I'm taking birth control (Ocella) And, have been for nearly 8 months. We have sex, without a condom, but he pulls out before he "busts." I had my last period Oct 31 for a day . No period in Nov. Im on Pill and I forgot to take It twice but doubled up like they say. No period in Nov. I took a pv test and it was neg. I took two more one did not have an answer the data other neg. I have 3 kids already. My concern is stil no period but somr pain on right side here and there. I go to my obgyn in a few days.
Recently I switched to nights and I've found it difficult to maintain taking my birth control on time ( I've been on ocella for years). Before my bf and I started having sex I had one very brown only slightly bloody period for a few days. My healthy 20 yr. old daughter was taken Ocella Birth Control Pills for 2- 3 months when she began experiencing severe headaches. She would take Tylenol, and eventually the headache would go away. At the time we did not make the relation between headaches and birth control pills. One particular day she complained of a headache, pain in her right shoulder/arm, blurry vision in her right eye, and she couldn't remember certain things that normally she remembered.
t need to take birth control pills but I am only taking Lybrel because I heard that it ends periods. I hate having my period because not only are they uncomfortable but I go through severe pms. I asked the doctor for them and she prescribed them for me. However, I've been bleeding (having my periods) for three months now! What's the purpose of taking these pills if now I bleed everyday! It's a really dark bloody discharge that stains my underwear.
I do the same thing and take my pills for a few months at a time skipping the placebos. I'm not sure what you're referring to when you skip the reduced hormone pills, because I thought you could only skip the placebo pills if you were on a monophasic drug (not triphasic).
To answer your question, though, I also get break through bleeding if I've been doing this for 3 months or so. I think it just means that your body is ready to have a period.
I have to take morning afternoon and night during my period. I am currently back to a 7 day period but still HEAVY flows than usual for me
7. The nail in coffin was this past month...scaitic nerve issues. I scream with pain!!. I had to sit at the airport for an extended period..mind you I travel from us to asia and african and never had this issue before. When I have gas coming out, its excruciating...going to the #2 is a horror in itself. I figure I am done with Yaz!
I didn't just get off the pill, but the sex was on the last blank pill of the pack.

At the end of September I was switched from Syeda to Ocella. I was about two weeks late picking up my prescription. On October 5th I was sexually active and it was during the first week of my pill pack. I ended up starting my withdraw bleed during the third week of my active pills. It was light and spotty, only when I wiped. It lasted 10 days.
About three days into the spotting I got sore breasts, which I have never gotten before.
#2 I have been taking my birth control, Ocella (28 pills) for 1 month, if I stop taking it will my periods come back since they were absent for so long? I have had 1 period so far, since I started my BC. I got my period on the 23rd of this month.
#3 can I still get pregnant, if I dont have my period after I stop taking the pill?
I'm not exactly sure when I could predict ovulation.

Some women don't test positive on a urine test for a few weeks after their missed period. Make sure you are testing with your first morning urine for the most accurate results. I agree with GordonBaby too, wait a week and test again if you have not started your cycle and follow up with your doctor.

Me and my fiance had sex on the 13th of march today is the 26 I normally have my period around the 23-24 and it last about 3 days I have yet to get a period he did not "***" in me also I have been off of the depo shot for about 5 months now should i buy a pregnancy test or should I wait it out I really don't want to waste money I'm really stressing about it and don't know what to do even though I'm only 2-3 days late
