I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex.
hey as far as i know yaz,yazmin and ocella are the same thing made by the same manufacture i took yazmin years ago and never has a problem i later moved on to one called micolite bit stronger as i used yazmin to regulate my periods microlite on available in ireland you should google your pill and will give you the info you need
I had my last period Oct 31 for a day . No period in Nov. Im on Pill and I forgot to take It twice but doubled up like they say. No period in Nov. I took a pv test and it was neg. I took two more one did not have an answer the data other neg. I have 3 kids already. My concern is stil no period but somr pain on right side here and there. I go to my obgyn in a few days.

I am trully deceptioned. I am thinking on not taking Lybrel anymore, it's not reaching its purpose. I am miserable. The worse part of it is my doctor! When I told her about lybrel she gave me a perplexed look. Mind you, she's a gynecologist! I had to bring her a print out, and this was on my second appointment. In the beginning she prescribed ocella, I stoped because it was making me bleed. She told me that I shouldn't had stoped because it was my body adapting to the pill.
I do the same thing and take my pills for a few months at a time skipping the placebos. I'm not sure what you're referring to when you skip the reduced hormone pills, because I thought you could only skip the placebo pills if you were on a monophasic drug (not triphasic).
To answer your question, though, I also get break through bleeding if I've been doing this for 3 months or so. I think it just means that your body is ready to have a period.
Just started taking it again, and the edgy feeling is back (precedes the anxiety)...and it is 4 a.m. I have been sleeping like a baby since I discontinued the pill. Now I am awake and feeling nervous. I am kind of upset about it (aside from the obvious reasons) because it is the same pill that I had been taking for many years. But I believe that now that I am in my 40s my biochemistry is changing and it simply works differently for me now.
If you have not been good about taking the pill, you may have gotten pregnant from the broken condom and you can decided whether or not you want to continue to take the pill. If you are pregnant and continue to take the pill, it can possibly cause a miscarriage. And if you want to, buy a home pregnancy test and take it 2 weeks from the time the condom broke, in order for the test to be accurate. Take care.
idk, it just makes me super nervous. I just freak out. Since I freak so much, it's a sign we should just not have sex. I mean, until I'm ready to be a mother! That would be the best thing to do, but thanks for your reply, it makes me at ease. And, no I haven't missed a pill. I've missed maybe one this month, like I took it a little late, but we didn't have sex because of that..
I have been on the pill for four cycles now. Before the pill I had the body of a teenage boy to be honest, almost no boobs and athletic, but skinny. I'm 5'2" and went from 101 to 116 lbs. After the first two cycles of being on Yaz, I gained a cup size. I feel bloated ALL the time, and look it too, all through my cycles, and more so when I have my period.
I have been taking the birth control pills (Junel FE) for over a year now, and have been sexually active with the same man for 2 years. I have never missed a pill intill recently. I had sex without using a condom on tuesday and he pulled out right after he began ejaculating, i took wed. and thurs. pill but missed fridays and didnt realize intill i took tonights pill which is saturday.
Take two right now and continue with doses
I went to my OBGYN and he did a laparoscopy and I found out that I have endometriosis and even though it was very mild, it had latched onto my colon, to boot I was also having a reaction to the new bc pill I had just started so I had colitis from the bc and then when i would have a cycle the bleeding would start all over.
hi Doc , the result of my hsg shows i have blockages around my tubes not inside the tube my doctor advise to continue trying for another sixmonths which has past but still not pregnant and my husband has a low sperm count please what do i do at this stage save my marriage pls.
At the end of September I was switched from Syeda to Ocella. I was about two weeks late picking up my prescription. On October 5th I was sexually active and it was during the first week of my pill pack. I ended up starting my withdraw bleed during the third week of my active pills. It was light and spotty, only when I wiped. It lasted 10 days.
About three days into the spotting I got sore breasts, which I have never gotten before.
