I have been on Ocella for the past 10 months. I'm finding that the past few months I am consistently anxious and depressed. I am concerned that it could be the birth control that I am on. I would like to know if there are any b.c. pills that limit this side effect. I also find that my libido is less strong. All of these symptoms are affecting my relationship. Any suggestions?
but i m having loss of libido and erectile dysfunction because of that.......i m worried........wheter it is reversible........i hv stopped that drug.......its a herb......which stops conversion of testastrone to DHT...........WORRIED.........please........let me knw........it is reversible............
Well Ocella is the generic for Yasmin. I was taking Yasmin for 2 years, when last month I was given Ocella. Well I wasn;t too thrilled with it, as I had cramps for 5 days plus I started my period 1 day late. They say generic is always the same, but for me I felt a difference. It could be from the pill. Your body needs to adjust being on it. Side affects should lessen by the third month.

I'm a 17 year old male in High School with erectile dysfunction and a loss of libido. I noticed starting January or February last year that my erections where getting weaker and softer. In July I woke up and my penis felt abnormally flaccid. I remember having trouble getting any erection at all that day. The next week I could get an erection, but I would have to try very hard, it wouldn't be a real strong erection, and I would have to try quite hard.

I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th.
