ocella and itchy skin

Hello.. I been on Ocella for almost 2 months. and ever since I started taking it my breast have been very sore, there are days where I can not even sleep or stand having my bra on thru out the day. They hurt if I touch them, run or make any fast move. I did get my period which it was not that heavy being that I hadnt had a period for over a year. Could that be the problem?

The only medicine she was taken was the birth control pill, Ocella. She was overweight, and at times showed signs of high blood pressure, otherwise healthy. I want to know if there is any relation between seizures and birth control pills. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was wondering if switching birth control pills could have helped maximize the anxiety. I switched from yaz to ocella and have only been on ocella for a few months and the anxiety started like a month ago.

Did you make sure to give the pills (when you tried both ocella and lybrel) a few cycles to work? I know it's annoying, and in the mean time you have a life to contend with... But sometimes it takes a while for these things to work. It's weird that ocella (generic Yasmin, I think) would make you bleed, because that is usually one they give to women who have problems with breakthrough bleeding. How long did you try it before you quit?

I have been on Ocella for the past 10 months. I'm finding that the past few months I am consistently anxious and depressed. I am concerned that it could be the birth control that I am on. I would like to know if there are any b.c. pills that limit this side effect. I also find that my libido is less strong. All of these symptoms are affecting my relationship. Any suggestions?

I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Yesterday I had light pinkish/red blood when I wiped and some cramping and now I am having light brown discharge that is odorless. I have not missed any pills, and I do have unprotected sex.

Okay, I am on the birth control Ocella and I just got done with my period a week or so ago. My boyfriend and I had sex sunday and he came in me, then yesterday we did it twice and he came in me both times. I'm worried about possibly being pregnant. Is it possible to get pregnant even if i take my pill everyday at the same time all the time??

Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.

Earlier in May I missed three days of my pills and started to bleed. So I stopped taking it because I was going into my placebo week. I had my period then stopped for a day or two then started spotting that's never happen to me. I got my new pack and started taking them and now I feel nauseous as ever and I'm in my second week going to my third week...

But I thought I would ask, is anyone that has PCOS symptoms (high testosterone, insulin resistance) and on BCP on any other BCP besides Yasmin, and does it control PCOS symptoms? Have you seen any side effects?

What did you ladies do for dry itchy skin? My skin is so dry and itchy and nothing seems to work.

Skin changes are very normal. Get some lotion. Some women get oily skin and hair and some get really dried out skin and hair. I'm with you, skin is getting dried out and itchy. I get some relief sleeping in a cooler room with a humidifier. And don't take really hot showers. That can dry your skin out more.

Recently I switched to nights and I've found it difficult to maintain taking my birth control on time ( I've been on ocella for years). Before my bf and I started having sex I had one very brown only slightly bloody period for a few days. We had sex for the first time (protected) around June 12 and around June 23 I had very dark brown bleeding for about 2-3 days. too early for my period. I'm worried it may be implantation bleeding.

Eczema can do that. Food sensitivities such as gluten intolerance can aggravate the itching and the welts (rash). This is what happens to me. There are other things besides eczema that can do this, so don't accept eczema as the only possibility. Have you been tested for autoimmune issues like Lupus?

why does it feel like itchy spots all over like buds crawling under my shin?

Im 21 weeks and have experienced itchy skin no bumps except for a few and they only pop up when i scratch hard has anyone else had this problem? Is this normal and why does it happen?

I've got an itch under my skin. Usually on the soles and bridge of my feet, on the palms of my left hand, some of my fingers, between my breasts, on my left nipple only and one spot on my head but its always on the same places. Since childhood i have had a very itchy skin and very often find that my arms & legs and other parts of my body will start itching for no reason, and it sometimes it starts with a little red dot but when i itch, it becomes like hives and all red. Everyone kept telling me it was allergies or pregnancy itch and i was soo fed up and exhausted (because i couldnt sleep) i researched and found info about this and my mom n bf thought i was google crazy lol. then at maternal fetal medicine the dr took one look at me and sed i had cholestasis. (I also had scabs and a cpl little rashes from itching SO hard) its so rare not one nurse knew what it was. Two days after delivery i was no longer itching. Research it and definitley GO TO YOUR DR.
