3561313 tn?1347616992 my son is only 8 yrs old, lead a very active life, has no problem with movement (can go mountain climbing, etc) and he is diagnosed with cerebellar atrophy. Is this possible? He has stiffness and tightness in his legs, esp the knees which causes dull aching pain. If the nswer is yes, how can I help him? Is any any cure or medicine for him? Will it definitely worsen overtime?
Avatar n tn An EKG is not the most reliable way to diagnos RVH. This could simply be a lead lacement issue during the EKG that gave a fales reading, this happened to me. They will need to do an echo and stress test to be sure, but I would not get too worked up yet. WHne you mention she did other tests, were they diferent than an EKG? If she did an echo than that would be more accurate an would require further investigation.
Avatar n tn I should mention that I am 38 yr old male, with normal blood pressure, no family history of CAD, non smoker, BMI = 24, no other risk factors that I know of

572651 tn?1530999357 Periventricular and to a lesser extent subcortical, and also a lesion involving the posterior limb of the left internal capsule. No brachium pontis lesions are seen. No medial temporal lobe or definite corpus callosal lesions are see. One slightly ovoid lesion is seen in the right frontal white matter posteriorly. A number of these lesions show a vague rim of increased T1 signal due to lipid leaching , and this occurs commonly with demyelinating disease such as MS.
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
Avatar f tn The best way to reduce it is to work with your doctor on some life style changes including diet and exercise. Try to avoid processed foods, a basic rule of thumb is to avoid anything that comes from a window, bag or a box. Also, at your level you may need some medical intervention like a statin. Again, you should discuss this with your doctor.
Avatar f tn I feel exactly the same way you do.. I'm 37+2. I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. All the pains are horrible. I couldn't walk the other day due to back pain. I want her out but then I think the longer she's in there the healthier shell be. I have a 4 yr old son and I'm at a pizza arcade place right now but ugh I have no energy. LOL. Not to much longer.
Avatar n tn What is your history with this? I would seek medical advise....
1721541 tn?1309410347 ordered this, because I kept complaining of chest pain and palpitations. What does my results mean?
159619 tn?1707018272 Hi, How are you feeling? Yes, it would help to relieve pain by draining fluid from knee. Fluid in the knee is due to injury and inflammatory response in knee. I think you can start RICE protocol. Rest: no weight-bearing activities for the first 24 hours after the injury. Ice: apply ice packs to the area that is painful or the focal point of the injury. Apply ice intermittently for the first 24 hours, utilizing a pattern of 20 minutes of ice followed by 60 minutes without ice.

1327431 tn?1327072104 Please, always post the reference ranges for test results, as shown on your lab report. These ranges vary lab to lab, so must come from your own lab report. Was that T3 in Dec for Free or Total? Unfortunately, testing for total T's is obsolete and of very limited value. It's possible that you aren't converting the FT4 to FT3, but without an FT3, we have no way of knowing. A selenium supplement may help.
Avatar f tn Non specific changes means ....i hate to say it....that they are not specific for anything. Not normal but also not necessarily bad ieiter. St depression can mean that there are blockages in your heart -- but your stress test suggests that there are not. Echo shows normal heart function rest and with stress. Right atrial enlargement is rarely significant.
Avatar f tn During a routine new patient exam I was newly diagnosed with chronic HepC and wondering what treatment options are available (in Michigan). After going to a GI Specialist I found out that I am genotype 1a, viral load of 1.65 billion (6.2 log), stage 2 fibrosis. AST - 86, ALT - 72, WBC 5.8., Platelets 92,000. The last time I had any of these tests was in 2005 and my readings were good then. I've recently had an ultrasound, CT scan and a liver guided biopsy (which showed no cancer).
Avatar m tn No. You have covered your bases with std's. You should know that men do not get BV. It stands for bacterial vaginosis (it is a bacterial infection of the vagina). You just have to keep following up with your doctor. Get a second ENT opinion. But go ahead and rule out std's. To get an std orally is pretty rare anyway.
