Some drug companies will supply the drug for those who can't afford it. Find out who makes nexium, and contact them It sounds like you really need the nexium, and should make it a priority. Ask your Dr for samples, also. The sooner you start taking it the sooner you will feel better. May even help the night sweats, who knows. Just get the med!

My eating habits were horrible and my exercise level was low.
i also felt out of breath and had terrible cramps in my tummy, accompanied by diarrhoea. Went in to the doctor who diagnosed me with gastritis and put me on nexium and ulsanic. she also said i had too much acid in the body which resulted in me making frequent to the toile mostly at night to pass urine. She also referred me to a dietician who did not help much. Fast forward to date, the nausea is hardly ever there, but i still get bouts of fatique.
Endoscopy and Colono scopy were done and everything looked normal. Continuing Nexium treatment.Fatty liver and fatty pancreas diagnosed.
2014 March - Endoscopy, CT Scan and Ultra sound were done.Results say Gastric antrum mild chronic inflammation, fatty liver and pancreas.
Now a days the health looks like deteriorating. Started feeling pain on right and left side of stomach continuously. Sqeezing sensation in stomach. Feeling weak and fatigue.Sometimes after eating.
Here we go. I have been diagnosed with IBS, but the only time I have had problems for 20 years were after certain meals I would dump and if I was up and active after 2am without eating anything then I would wake up at 4-5am having stomach spasms and bowel movements. Sometime diarrhea, sometimes normal.
Now for the past 3 months I have been waking up at 4-5am 6 night of every week with spasms and having to have a bowel movement-diarrhea or normal-that lasts for at least 2 hours.

probably an ulcer, caused by h.ploryi. It's confirmed usually by a test or there's a not so accurate breath test. Usually treated with triple therapy antibiotics. Even though you're taking nexium, h. ploryi still can live and prosper in a stomach..so you probably need that blood test asap. Your primary doctor can order the test for you.
For months my body has been all messed up. I found out that I have GERDs and IBS and started Nexium and a high fiber diet. Problem is thats not working. I am always tired and having problems with digestion. Saturday I got so nauseous that I couldn't eat anything and the smell of certain things made the nausea worse. I was in so much pain from my head to my stomach and could barely stay awake. For about a month now I have noticed blood in my stool and when I wipe.
The last year it has gotten worse where I occasionally wake up with back and throat pain but it is quickly resolved by getting up, moving around and taking tums. I have been to many gastro dr.s, have been on nexium and zantac and am mostly constipated (wondering if I have IBS-C?) For some reason, I am petrified of having pancreatic cancer and worry that the back pain could be this.
oh forgot to say IBS issues can cause nausea..and stress can flare IBS issues..no doubt you're stressed as well.. so fiber supplements and water..(starting slowly) might also be causing nausea..my guess is your tummy though.

June 2011 I went for upper GI endoscopy post continues symptoms of heart burns, bloatted stomach and stomach pain. Docs concluded I have Gastritis and IBS. since then I was on Nexium for few weeks. heart burn stopped but B12 Vitamin went low to 110s. So stopped Nexium. But very often, I do get coughing in night when I lie down, heart burns, breathless and pain in upper stomach portion. am Obese with 110Kgs wgt for 5.8 inch height. need to loose 30 kgs. trying everything.
Hi...hoping someone out there can help or give me some advice...I've been having daily diarrhea and/or multiple soft stools for 3 months. It does not wake me up in the middle of the night but starts up about an hour after I wake. Starts with a slight burning feeling below my breastbone that slowly moves down my abdomen. Nexium isn't doing anything.
I am a 36 yr old female who is taking nexium for GERD and or gastritis. Every so often I experience this burning sensation around my stomach and upper area back which may last for several days. My bowels have changed in size, the color is usually normal, but I do not see any blood nor mucus, and when I did have a bowel movement there is pressure near the rectum area. I have gotten a colonoscopy which was negative.
I take nexium daily for the GERD and metamucil daily for the IBS. I am not on any anxiety medication. About 5 years ago I had an upper GI endoscopy that came back fine. 4 days ago I woke up with terrible pressure in my chest. I have had this before with my GERD but this was the worst it had ever been. Since then, the pressure is gone but I have had very strong pains when I swallow or even belch. Basically anything that stretches my esophagus causes horrible pain.
I took Nexium for 5 or 6 years and each day was misery with uncontrollable diarrhea, and pain. I am almost certain that there is a connection. It has many side effects, but I no longer have my pharmacy print-out of the side effects listed. My doctor told me Prevacid would not cause severe colitis, but it did.
I had to talk to a friend who said that I might have IBS. I have a normal bowel movement every morning and it seems fine, but this burning pain started out in the morning and now I have it all day and I'm starting to feel it in my back. My PCP told me my GI doctor should of given me something to ease the pain. I asked him for something and he said , call the GI doctor. He just said, your fine. If I am fine I would be having these pains. Does anyone know what I can take for IBS ?
t seem to be making a difference, so he then prescribed Nexium. Things seemed to only be worse while I was on Nexium as I was experiencing some chest pain after eating or drinking but this stopped for several days after I stopped taking the medication which was in the middle of March. About 2 weeks after stopping the Nexium I've been experiencing a lot of really weird symptoms and am having discomfort on a daily basis.
After several months this infrequent chest pain, accompanied by bloating, sore stomach and not too much reflux has become very intrusive and the pain worse, often improved by some food! Could the Nexium be too powerful after time and be a trouble maker? has anyone experience, please? I have had "Pylori" test, endoscopy etc.
After suffering from ibs symptoms for about 6 months I ended up in outpatients at the hospital one day with severe stomach pain. Another heap of test and they sent me home with a script for nexium and mylanta. Slowly the symptoms subsided but have continually come back worse and worse every time. I have just had a full blood work including thyroid and gastroscopy! But all was fine. Except my b12 levels.

But disappears on taking antiacid and have stopped these problematic foods for 2 months
The doc suggested once I complete Prevpac and he is going to put me on IBS/Stress mediciation. I dont feel stress and my bowel movement is normal. I am humorous and easy going person. Never had problem of stress.
