I note too that 5 mg sounds like a light dose, but I'm comparing to Metoprolol which I take 100 mg of each day. I know that all BBs have a lot of horrible effects, but currently I will happy if the side effects (for me) on a new medicine will be at 50-70% of what I felt on Bisoprolol, I will be very, very happy. I was ill, without any energy, and with insane breathing and walking problems on Bisoprolol. If I will be able to find a medicine one day with only "mild" side effects like headaches, dizziness, nausea and moderate tiredness and similar, I will be very happy.

After my second ever episode of fast atrial fibrillation, resolved through electric shock, my cardiologist prescribed 100mg flecaine and 2.5mg nebivolol to be taken every day. The "extra-systoles" is another way for describing a PVC, or premature ventricular contraction. That can cause symptoms and is usually treated with beta blockers like you are on. It is a common side effect with Nebicard (Nebivolol) so perhaps it might be worth asking your Doctor to prescribe a different brand.

I took from may 2009 till august 2009 Bystolic (Nebivolol) 2.5 mg. After coping with all the side effects I was feeling allright. In september 2009 I switched to another beta blocker Bisoprolol (Concor) 2.5 mg. After taking it for two weeks I started experiencing a tingling sensation in my fingers, chest pressure and muscles pain. In the third week, one day after having lunch I went back to work.

I was given nitroglycerin to see if that would help the chest pains. It did. Now, I was just put on a beta blocker, nebivolol (or something like that) for a rapid heart rate, and a high BP reading at the time. My BP is usually fine. I had an echocardiogram and everything was fine. Here's the confusion... I have no idea what is wrong with me, if anything. The doctors don't provide any diagnosis or give any clues to whether there is anything wrong at all.

Hi. I am on week 60/72, second round of treatment. I was really really sick after shot for first few months and then this resolved and became tolerable at least. I now find that I am having these same significant side effects later in tx. This didn't happen last round, but I went 48 then. Anyone else have this happen?

i had similar side effects when coming off the depo shot. I thought i was pregnant and took 3 tests. they went away but it took about 6mo. My docs checked my hormones and pituitary gland and they we all fine. It's probably not the effexor but ck w/ your doc anyway.

I just googled Avastin side effects are there are many sites that have lots of info on there. Also, you could google the manufacturer or ask your oncology center for some fact sheets.... Just a thought.

Side effect from Taxol perminent numb toes, side effects so far from Tamoxifen body temperature changes of warmth then cold. The web page sites and telephone numbers did not have this information.
