987762 tn?1671273328 //www.drugs.com/nasacort.html though this is about the nasal spray Nasacort AQ and there could be different nasacort nasal sprays lol i'll assume its what your using. It says "Nasacort AQ is a nasal spray that contains triamcinolone - an adrenocortical steroid." When I looked up what 'adrenocortical steriod' was this is the definition I got.... n adrenal corticosteroid 1.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if any of you on the site who have Hep C, who have ever had experience with using a prescription allergy medicine that is a nasal spray? I had taken Flonase in the past, never really cared for the backwash it has. But, I've been seeing an allergist because my allergies have really bothered me this year. He prescribed a medicine that is a nasal spray called Astelin.
Avatar f tn What kind of nasal spray? Is it a prescription like Nasacort or Flonase or the OTC stuff like Afrin? If it's Afrin that is not supposed to be used all the time, it's really bad. If your nose is bleeding, that could be an infection or maybe from the spray. I'm not sure about the blood pressure. I think you should try to wean off the Afrin. You are probably having what's called *rebound* congestion. Read the label on it. It tells you not to use for more than 3 days.
Avatar f tn Hi, I use Nasacort, which is a steroid nasal spray, but I'm not always good at using it.
Avatar n tn com/health/nasal-spray-addiction#treatment It suggests switching from a decongestant nasal spray to a steriod nasal spray. I would check with your doctor though before doing anything. Your sinus gets physically dependent on the spray but you can resolve that.

Avatar f tn Thanks. I did have a cold and the Dr. gave me a sample nasal spray called Nasacort. I tried it for 11 days straight and didn't get any good results so I just quit using it. I'm going to try it again, maybe this time it will work. I would like to smell again. Thanks for your input.
8827391 tn?1400247234 I currently have the same issue i work in a pharmacy and I verified with my pharmacist he who also has 5kids he said that Sudafed is a class C which means there are no studies bad or good on it so I could take that, but for me that was a no he did however suggest nasacort nasal spray I decided I would wait it out and suffer through id rather avoid using anything as much as possible
Avatar f tn Benadryl makes me fall asleep too easily...
Avatar m tn You can get it OTC in Nasacort nasal spray. Just spray you know where a few times in the evening (when it itched the most fir me). Five days later and everything is gone. Like a miracle.
Avatar f tn My doctor put me on a medication called SYNAREL Nasal Spray for the next six months. Just wondering if anyone else was on this nasal spray? Side effects? I've been on it for 2.5 weeks. I've had horrible headaches daily, extreme fatigue and muscle and joint pain. My doctor does not think this is related to the Synarel. Anyone with similar experience?
Avatar f tn m feeling much, much better. I use Xyzal, Nasacort AQ, Symbicort and a rescue medication as needed.

Avatar f tn Hi. I have been having horrible breathing problems. I feel like I keep having to force myself to yawn all day to get enough air. It feels like my throat isn't open all the way or like there's bubble that won't pop in my esophagus at the bottom of my neck near my sternum (that's what it feels like to me.) This has been going on for 3 WEEKS now and started randomly at work one day (and it's not anxiety.
895401 tn?1302792967 I was using an inhealer for awhile this past month, really trying to get my asthma under control. What I found works for me is getting a nasal steriod spray, like Rhinocort Aqua, Nasacort, etc., After I started using this at night it opened up my nasal areas ( which I did not realize were clogged), then I use the mouth inhealer in the mornings and that seems to work for me. Since I don't know your situation, please make sure that you don't stop using any medication and have a attack.
Avatar f tn s ok for her to get the nasal spray. I was wondering if this can bring some negative side effects. She is four years old and suffers from asthma since she was 3 years old.
Avatar f tn I didn't have any side effects except pregnancy, lol but some people may have them although not sure about the specific ones you asked about.
612551 tn?1450022175 My EN&T problem that brought me to this community is night time congestion . I have tried many decongestant products, some over-the-counter and a couple prescription formulations. I have fond that the only thing, pill or spray, that really clears the nasal passages for me is the "Afrin" type nasal spray. Of course we all know this will produce bad unwanted side effects (rebound and loss of sense of smell I believe), so I don't use this spray every night.
910524 tn?1288273614 So thus evening I took a dose of nasal spray to try it again and my nasal congestion was better but lo and behold I am sitting here at 2:00 am writing this as I've been coughing for the last 15 minutes. It's to much of a coincidence for me to not think it's the omnaris spray. I will now stop the dose again until I see my doctor next week and get her thoughts. I can deal with the nasal congestion better than this coughing. This is of course just my theory.
Avatar m tn Have you tried the nasal spray? I think it works wonders. The problem with benedryl, other than side effects for me, is that I would suffer too much during the day time. I suspect the dose to my body is relatively minor, but not sure.
