Weirdly he's into the classics. Beethoven and Mozart. Things like that. Moonlight sonata gets him real still and he doesn't move. When its over he kicks like crazy till I put it back on. Anything played on a piano or violin seems to sooth him. He also loves when I sing to him. Could be anything.
I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function.
The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Benzos are a bad remedy for insomnia, as they interfere with the brain's ability to learn how to adapt to stress and interfere with REM sleep, and of course are addictive with quite a withdrawal kick. Although you only used it for a short time, people are different in how they respond to quitting -- it should be done gradually even after short term use if that use was continuous as opposed to as-needed occasional use.
ve been having back pain and insomnia since my surgery 4 months and was prescribed Percocet. My surgeon told me to see a PCP for more Rx and I did. I went to a family practice with 3 doctors and 1 FNP. Two weeks ago, the FNP prescribe me indocin, benadryl, and retin-a(other). None of these medications helped with my back pain and thurday 12/23 I saw the PCP again.
I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal.
Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Three weeks ago my husband and I made a big move to Thailand. Obviously we brought our girl (Moonlight) with us. When we got here she was fine, just a bit frazzled from such a long journey. She had been behaving normally until about 6 days ago when she began vomiting quite a bit. We waited a few hours to see if it would subside, and it did not, so we decided to take her to the vet.
I tried coke for the first time stupid I know and never again but shared a not with a close firend of mine who also does not use drugs expect for then. We both did a bit and the next morning i noticed blood on one of the bill. Neither of our noses bled except a bit in the morning. Anyways, if someone other than us had used teh bill sometime before us, would this still be a risk?I had the bill in my pocket for at least an hour before we used it maybe more. Do we need to get a test?
doctor at the office, I stayed there. I also have hypo thyroid disease. Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob.
Our first little boy is called Mark Gregory and if we have a boy this time he will be Jason Luke :-) Took a while to get the names as we like traditional names that you don't necessarily hear much but now we've settled on one boys name and 2 for a girl ready for our surprise!
But, instead of a regular bassinet i got a rocking moonlight sleeper. You can put it beside your bed and rock it, it has vibrating thing on it and nature sounds and it puts off a soft light with stars and moons.
He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
When I get to this point it is like the color goes out of the world. I watch people going about their lives and I feel like everyone is passing me by and I have this big thing hanging over my head. I want to be the person I was before.
I am a 36 yr old female and I have had problems sleeping for about 10 years now. All of this started with a stressful job I had 10 yrs ago. I started to develop insomnia and sleep anxiety. Tried Remeron (sp?) at first, work great but made me want to eat all the time. I quit that job and things did get a little better, but I could never get my normal sleep patterns back. I either cant go to sleep, cant fall into REM sleep or wake up early.
, the state and local medical boards disagree with the way Lyme is treated by Lyme specialists and other docs who understand Lyme. The Centers for Disease Control in Washington DC (your Federal tax dollar at work!) have a firm position that Lyme (and even its co-infections, apparently) is rare, hard to get, and easy to cure with a couple weeks of doxycycline antibiotics.

i would be just slightly hesitant to say that there will be little discomfort using valium for a taper. most times when you're having this much difficulty before even starting the taper, it means that a taper will be very difficult....however, everyone responds differently. thats really secondary to the fact that as madtram mentioned, there DOES need to be a taper. taking these drugs in excess for days or even weeks at a time then stoping is REALLY not good for you.
