Moonlight sonata for kids

Common Questions and Answers about Moonlight sonata for kids

sonata

Avatar f tn Weirdly he's into the classics. Beethoven and Mozart. Things like that. Moonlight sonata gets him real still and he doesn't move. When its over he kicks like crazy till I put it back on. Anything played on a piano or violin seems to sooth him. He also loves when I sing to him. Could be anything.
Avatar m tn It sounds more like the Sonata is causing this, unless this is something you've been taking for awhile, as these are common side effects of it. I doubt the B complex is causing the problem, but I wonder, when are taking it and when are you taking Sam-e?
Avatar f tn Lol so the question is exactly as it sounds. My 5 year old stepdaughter has to use a booster seat by law here, my 3 year old is in a toddler car seat and now with the little one due any time we have to figure how to squeeze the base and infant seat into there too. We have a 4-door Hyundai sonata. Short of taking off a door I'm pretty stuck on what the heck to do here. lol. Anybody else found to trick to make it all fit safely???
Avatar m tn My last refill for percocet was 10/19 and 12/09 for ambien and that was my plastic surgeon. My surgeon refused to give me anything else. He told me to find a PCP and I did 12/17 but this FNP isn't addressing my pain/insomnia effectively. On 12/17/10 she wrote me a script for indocin and benadryl. This didn't work so on 12/23/10 she wrote a questionable or I'm not sure who wrote it for sonata, percocet, and dicflonac.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Avatar f tn The Z sleep meds, (Ambien & Sonata) can be hard to taper off due to their relatively short half life. Talk to your doctor about using a Dr Ashton style taper where you switch to valium & taper off that which should help minimize the side effects you experience. Your GABA receptors have become tolerant to these drugs & it won't get any better if you continue with them but you should be able to taper very slowly using valium without too much discomfort.
Avatar f tn This is not at all like Moonlight. She is a voracious eater, she will eat anything and go through great lengths for food. We even had to buy a child lock for our fridge because she can open it and go on a raid. Food normally can not be left out or unattended because she will claim it. She has been eating, but not with enthusiasm, and today for the first time she is outright refusing to eat. I know anti-biotics have side effect, age causes behavior changes, and so on.
Avatar f tn Hey, I took Seroquel for yrs for my anxiety and it worked quite well. But finally stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance. But it never put me out.
Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar f tn But, instead of a regular bassinet i got a rocking moonlight sleeper. You can put it beside your bed and rock it, it has vibrating thing on it and nature sounds and it puts off a soft light with stars and moons.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I started clonezepam for my sleep apnea, I twitch all the time in my leg/arm before I fall asleep and I seem to have slept well even without bipap once I felt this urge to write something and I started twitching like I had a seizure for a few minutes
Avatar f tn When I turn off the lights for bed, instead of things seeming very dark (as they should) - it is as if a full moon is shining in the window. Whether my eyes are opened or closed, the perimeter of my vision is lighter than the center. I'm not able to see anything, so technically my eyes are still not adjusted to the darkened room. After a while, my vision adjusts to the darkness and I quit noticing the lightness. Nothing is flashing or moving.
Avatar n tn my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd, wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
220090 tn?1379167187 Andiamo; I actually did a bit of gardening this morning and just came in and read your story. I've kept my father's 'driving gloves' (which are now very old - he died when I was 19), but I put them on whenever I 'need a hand' - and I did this morning!!!! Strange, but I also 'YouTubed' "Moonlight Sonata" which he played often.
1488123 tn?1288982829 ve been able in the past to save money to see a doctor and have tests, can you moonlight or add some extra hours so you have money for health insurance? If you have it, you should be able to be monitored by your ob-gyn and get your questions answered about provera and everything else. (I wouldn't try a pregnancy without health insurance, since it can run into the multiple thousands of dollars if there are complications.
Avatar f tn Sometimes, when I read in bed on an evening, I notice a problem when I turn out the light. I go blind for a few minutes in one eye! When I look around the room in the moonlight I have noticed that I can see perfectly well from my left eye, but it takes a good few minutes for my right eye to be able to see in the available light. At any time in the day or night I have noticed on many occasions that I get a blurred feeling in my right eye almost like I have a film over my eye.
Avatar f tn So my kids will stay with friends if he comes earlier.. Did any of you with older kids pack overnight bags for them in advance or just wing it when/if it became necessary?
