Weirdly he's into the classics. Beethoven and Mozart. Things like that. Moonlight sonata gets him real still and he doesn't move. When its over he kicks like crazy till I put it back on. Anything played on a piano or violin seems to sooth him. He also loves when I sing to him. Could be anything.
I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function.
The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
Three weeks ago my husband and I made a big move to Thailand. Obviously we brought our girl (Moonlight) with us. When we got here she was fine, just a bit frazzled from such a long journey. She had been behaving normally until about 6 days ago when she began vomiting quite a bit. We waited a few hours to see if it would subside, and it did not, so we decided to take her to the vet.
Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
But, instead of a regular bassinet i got a rocking moonlight sleeper. You can put it beside your bed and rock it, it has vibrating thing on it and nature sounds and it puts off a soft light with stars and moons.
I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
We all lurk from time to time. Notes are not private, and I have stumbled across some pretty hurtful things being said about others........Just a thought.......Take it or leave it.
