mobic

3122657 tn?1357432602 But if you have real joint pain you may need to ask your Dr. about anti inflammatory drugs. One is called mobic generic for (???). Dr. Mayo (yes the real mayo!!!) had me on it. I quit taking it because its not good for the heart. My hearts in good shape & I want to keep it like that!!!! But that would definitely be for a Dr. to decide. And yourself of course. I will say---they do work!!! Let me know if it lifts on its own or what???
Avatar n tn I was then referred to a neuroligist because my headaches became more and more just facial pain...my face hurts constantly...was diagnosed with tension headache and my MRI came back normal.... I don't know what to do anymore my pain is the worst as soon as i get up in the morning and ranges from 3-7 ( on 1-10 scale)as a daily average...I don't think this is a tension headache. I'm not under stress to cause this "tension" Why does my face hurt 24/7? ...

Avatar f tn the only meds that help relieve most of the pain are Zomig (really expensive, but no generic version yet) and Meloxicam (generic for Mobic) - both pills taken together usually decrease pain within an hour or two. Hope this helps. My doc also suggested Imitrex when I can't afford the Zomig anymore.

Avatar m tn My doctor wrote me a script for Mobic to help with some nerve pain. Im wondering if anyone knows if its similar to tramadol at all, Im hoping not, but anyone who has any helpful info please let me know. I cant start back on opiates again for the pain and Ive heard too many bad stories about tramadol to even consider it as an alternative. Also if anyone knows of anything that helps nerve pain, Im open for any suggestions. Hope everyone is well, thanks.
Avatar m tn 15 lbs in 5 weeks. Trying Zoloft with xanx at nite to try and sleep. Took Mobic for years for back pain/arthritis but discontinued before injection. Chronic sinus infections for years. Common antibiotic resistant. Rocephin seems to work. ENT exam 3 weeks ago unconclusive. Sinus clear, normal function of ear drums. Neurologist labeled TIA initially but continues to investigate with CTA.
Avatar f tn I used to take that for my headaches all the time even though it never helped. Lol. But mobic is working wonders for my headaches and dizziness. Everything else is the same or worse. fmimom, do you have any tips for relaxing? I try not to think about most stuff, it's easier said than done. This is also his first deployment so, I'm never sure if I'm doing everything right.
401370 tn?1233324682 Long term, higher o-t-c dosing needs to be monitored by a Dr. to be certain no ulcerations or irritation occurs. I am on Mobic NSAID prescription and need to have bloodwork done ev. 3 mos for kidney function, and am told to be aware of any acid reflux indicators as a side effect not to brush off lightly while on NSAID's.
Avatar n tn My provider told me I have a little of Osteo arthritis and has prescribed me Mobic for the pain. Now, since like a month ago, I have been feeling like big pulses on my legs, buttock, arms, neck, face, back and stomack at times. It does not last too long but, i do have then through out the whole day. It is somewhat worrying me. Does anyone know why this is happening or what lab test can I get done?
Avatar m tn ve been prescribed Meloxicam/Mobic for the pain and inflamation. The data sheet that came with the prescription details some pretty nasty potential side effects. I normally don't have too much trouble with meds but this stuff is potent. What have been your experiences with this med? I'm also on Paxil, 10mgs per day, and Methlyne, 15mgs per day, for the depression and anxiety problems. Thx in advance for all your replys. Thom.

176838 tn?1211460374 I am a 31 year old female and I recently saw a fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue specialist for a myriad of complaints including fatigue, headaches, joint & muscle pain. He thinks I might have sleep apnea which would account for some of my symptoms but not all. I have some of the pressure points for fibromyalgia but not a full 11.
Avatar n tn Thanks for responding. I have been put on Mobic for a knee problem, which has now resolved. I hoping that my pain Dr. will agree to let me stop the narcotic pain meds and try to use the Mobic and epidurals. I really don't know what is worse-the steroids in the epidurals or staying on Percocet. It would be OK if I really felt it was helping, but I don't. I had a sciatica flare up about 3 months ago, and had to go on Oxycontin 20mg for a few weeks.
Avatar f tn I have swollen knuckles, I have tried oral mobic, it's not helping so much, I've tried aspercreme, nothing there either. Is there a good rub on cream for joint inflammation? What is it?
Avatar f tn I have been having issues off and on for the last year or so but it's been daily for the last few months. My body aches all over....shoulders, neck, back, legs, arms and feet. The worst pain is in my shoulder blades and legs. My boyfriend massages around my shoulder blades and it's really tender but at the same time feels so good. After the massage the pai and tenderness are still there though.
Avatar f tn I was just prescribed mobic and I just wondered if it's afdictive
