t know about the Monavie but what I take and is wonderful is Mirapex. I take it 3 times a day and have no restless legs unless I skip a dose or run out and then the RLS returns. I hope this has helped.
I loose a lot of sleep. I get in day and night. My arms even jerk and have that restless feeling. Mirapex is taken twice a day and don't help. No drs will address it and I'm miserable . Is this a lack of a vitamin or mineral. Do I ever get rid of them?
This has kept the RLS under control but about 7pm has sent me to sleep - most inconvenient for evening meetings! Today my specialist put me on Gabapentin - 100mg twice a day for one week, increasing by 100mg per dose per week up to 600mg in the sixth week. I have therefore stopped the Ropinerole. What I forget to ask is what time of day/night it is best to take the Gabapentin capsules. My RLS is (was) bad in the evenings & through the night.
I am a single mother of 2 beautiful boys and become so depressed dont feel like getting out of bed and just want to sleep my life away. My question is once I have stopped taking these horrible pills, what do I do about my restless legs as it makes me feel like ripping my limbs off. Iv tried all the medication for it but nothing helps.
s why I take Mirapex -- the doctors also discovered that I never reach the 2nd stage of sleep where your body actually gets the rest it needs. So, an hour before I go to bed I take 1.5mg of Mirapex and 2mg of Clonazapam (actually I take 1 mg around 5pm and then another around 8pm) -- All prescriptions have been prescribed to me by my neurologist who specializes in ADD. Should I schedule an appointment with a Psychiatrist?
I'm on approx day 9. In the beginning RLS was terrible. It seemed to pass after day 6 or so. Now it's back with a vengeance. Also. I can't sleep at all. I took xanaflex. No help at all. It's driving me batty. I start school on Monday and I'm afraid to b tired. I tappered from icy 15s. I got 90 a month. But of course I ran out often. So here I am. Help!
Didn't sleep at all last night.. my legs hurt and felt as if they were crawling.. sick stomach.. achiness still.. other than that.. still trying to be strong and not give in.

Well, the Soma you're only supposed to take for two or three weeks, so if it's been that long, that's it for that drug. You're not supposed to take Wellbutrin with Clonazepam, so your doc will need to guide you in getting off the Wellbutrin slowly. Sometimes the frustration pain causes can depress a person, but you've got pain under control, so you might can see will the doc not give a replacement antidepressant for a while.
my mother has extreme leg cramps at nights this started 5 years ago she could not sleep at nights because of the pain.she took all kinds of pain killers then took mirapex nothing would help for years. 4 years ago because of the pain and the sleeplesness she fell on her back and broke her neck she was in a halo for 3 months still the leg pains continued. the next year she fell again and was giadnosed with progressive supra nuclear palsy she is now
in a nursing home.
I'm on .25mg of Mirapex for RLS and am gaining weight. Has anyone else experienced this. Any idea as to why. Suggestions? Thanks!
