X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.
Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication.
You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence.
The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.
I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.
I am a ftm and have less than 12 weeks to go and need a new bra. I was considering just getting a good nursing bra, since I'll be needing one anyway. Where is a good place to find a nursing bra and are there any brands or types that you moms prefer?
I recently had a friend tell me nursing bras with wire in them cuts off ur milk supply....I was wondering if thats true I like wire bras bc I have bigger boobs and it gives them shape but if it will cut off milk supply I dont want them....
I am looking for some reasonably priced nursing bras. My problem is that I have ridiculously large and out of control breasts. Pre pregnancy cup size was 36 DD. My cup size has already increased significantly, I'm not sure how much exactly I just know that nothing fits and i cannot seem to find anything that does. The largest I have found so far is 42 DD and that is still too small.

It was uncomfortable ans struggle sometimes using the regular bra. Like size, I seen some that go by cup size and others by small. Medium, etc. I seen other without wire.
I did a lot of research and asked other moms if they preferred the nursing tank tops or the bras and everyone said tank tops. I ordered mine off target.com. it will tell you how to size yourself as well.
It seams that nursing pads are only made for people with bigger boobs, i realize they get bigger being pregnant but im 30 weeks with alot of milk and im only a 8-10E, they are too big for my bra, is it possible to get smaller ones?
Ftm and my son was born two days ago, he loves to eat and breast feeds all the time. I get these clearish bumps on the nipple after he is finished and they are really tender. What can I do to ease the pain and bumps and it still be ok for him to eat?

Go with the safe option and buy a couple sports bra type nursing bras for now and then buy fitted ones after your milk comes in. When my milk came in I went from a 34B to a 36E overnight. No way would I have guessed the right size, and there's no way someone else would have been able to pinpoint the right size for me either. Some women get much bigger right away and some women barely get bigger at all.

Also when I am at home and in the beginning especially I wore the nursing sleep bras or a sports nursing bra which I also get from motherhood.com. I am a 38D nursing bra and was comfortable at home in them unless I went out and after nursing for a while I went down to a c. Just giving u size so u can get an idea if u would have enough support in these types of bras.
My breasts grew a lot more in pregnancy than they did when breastfeeding. I'd vote for the size you are now. If you get a regular bra that has relatively low or stretchy cups (like even a running bra) you might find that you don't need a nursing bra. I had one nursing bra, but I wore other bras also, and didn't find it less convenient to use a regular bra when nursing. The darn nursing bra had irritating little straps and flaps and clips.
