Common Questions and Answers about Metaxalone mutual

skelaxin

Avatar m tn X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.
2063887 tn?1337829746 I was told the deep hip pain is caused by a deep spasm so close to the bone that you cannot see, but it is a spasm. Forget the technical name. Metaxalone was prescribed for me and it helps about 80% of the pain. I hope I answered your question, feel free to ping me if you have any more. I'm also in the MS community forum, and you can search Tysabri in the search field in that forum. We've had a ton of discussions on the drug. :) Hope you feel better soon!
Avatar m tn Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.

Avatar m tn Thanks a lot.I know mutual masturbation is no risk. I just want to know if there are some body liquids under my forskin after the mutual masturbation,is it still no risk?
Avatar n tn Sorry, to qualify my risk I need to know if fingering(penetration in vagina with fingers) = mutual masturbation? Or there are different things? Or mutual masturbation can also consists of finger penetration in vagina?

Avatar n tn it's low risk of transmitting an oral std to someone through kissing them. oral herpes is transmitted through kissing but we don't classify that as a std when it's oral. mutual masturbation is incredibly low risk. You can transmit herpes , hpv and molluscum through direct skin on skin contact - ie the outercourse that often goes a long with mutual masturbation but the risk of transmitting those are so low that we don't recommend testing for that either.
Avatar f tn So you received oral sex? Very low risk. Kissing is not a risk. Mutual fingering??? With women?
Avatar m tn hi everyone, i think i'm just getting caught up on my understanding of what 'mutual masturbation' is.. in nursegirl6572's "HIV: The Facts" post (which is ultra informative) she writes: "The virus quickly becomes inactive when it is outside of its host (the body). This is why infection from inanimate objects is impossible. This is also why mutual masturbation with exposure to a partner's gential fluids is also NOT a risk in any way.
Avatar n tn I am a male in my 20s. Recently, I engaged in mutual masturbation with a guy I met at a party. We alternated between stimulating ourselves and each other, and he rubbed the tip of my penis/urethra with his finger. He ejaculated on his chest and I did the same. Although we used lubrication, my penis was a bit sore afterward. While he said he is negative, I am not entirely sure, and now I'm worried about the possible risk from our encounter. How "safe" is mutual masturbation?

Avatar f tn There was mutual masturbation were some pre ejaculate was exchanged and we ejaculated on each others chest. Are there any STD risks here?
Avatar m tn I am a 22 year old male from New York. About a year and a half ago I was tested for all STD's including AIDS & Herpes. Before the test I had protected sexual intercourse with two girls the last one being 6 months before the test, and unprotected oral sex being 4-5 months before the test. and I have engaged in mutual masturbation & kissing with a few African American strippers & a 20 year old college student.
Avatar m tn 1) i did mutual masterbation with 5 different guys at different times (there was no genital to genital contact just hand to genital). During the mutual masterbation there was semen or precum involved( both our precum together). So i used the same hand to masterbate my self and the other person and so did he, he used the same hand to touch his penis and mine along with semen/precum being involved. Can i know what are my risks for any STDs ? (Especially herpes, hpv, syphillis).

Avatar n tn I have engaged in multiple acts of mutual masturbation with other males. Have had oral in the past (only given a couple of times), but this was well over a year ago. Got cleared for gonorrhea, syphiles, chlamydia etc.., in Sept last year. Since had a couple of mutual masturbation encounters. Have had pain in my left teste for around 2 months. Been 2 docs 3 times and have had 3 courses of antibiotics (last one being a 2 week course of doxycylcine). No pain when urinating and no burning.

Avatar f tn I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.
Avatar n tn I've already posted a question about decreasing the transmission from intercourse, but I was wondering about mutual masterbation. I've heard of Herpes Whitlow, and I was wondering how safe is mutual masterbation? I've heard there is almost no risk. It seems like a safe sex alternative. I just don't want my partner to contract herpes from me in any form, and I was wondering if I were to have her masterbate me would she be safe?

Avatar n tn The virus is not alove so it does not die it is either active or inactive. One exposed to the environment it is very very quickly DEACTIVATED. Wounds make no difference in this scenario. Mututal masturbation is not a risk and NO your 'exposure' is not in the ball park of mutual masturbation anyway!! You already know all of this, it has been gone over with you repeatedly. Again, this is not a risk.
