Metaxalone mg

Common Questions and Answers about Metaxalone mg

skelaxin

Avatar m tn X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.
2063887 tn?1337829746 I was told the deep hip pain is caused by a deep spasm so close to the bone that you cannot see, but it is a spasm. Forget the technical name. Metaxalone was prescribed for me and it helps about 80% of the pain. I hope I answered your question, feel free to ping me if you have any more. I'm also in the MS community forum, and you can search Tysabri in the search field in that forum. We've had a ton of discussions on the drug. :) Hope you feel better soon!
Avatar m tn Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.
Avatar f tn It's unbelievable that I made so many mistakes just writing down my problems, the worst is I forgot I entered this and entered again tonight. I've been having problems for 7 years until diagnosed. I'm not sure how this site works. This cognitive problems is not good. Questions is this a problem of MG, drugs, alzheimer's, a stroke or depression. I haven't called the my nerulogist yet. He said to call if I saw double. Concerning county mental health, why county?
1452289 tn?1285614948 The old standy from Flexeral causes so much sleepiness. One of the better ones that wont make you as sleepy is Metaxalone.
Avatar m tn It is equally unknown whether MG can cause silent PID or only with symptoms like low abdominal pain. Regardless of cause, for most PID the symptoms are mild, not sufficiento to be any kind of "medical emergency".
Avatar m tn I continue to have burning at the base of my scrotum and penis 9 months after contact. I thought that MG could spread to other parts of the body especially through oral sex.
Avatar f tn But my problem is some of my other symptoms are not related to MG. I have problems walking, my giat is wide, I have a Babinski reflex, I have horrible involuntary muscle movements in my legs at night and problems with disfunctional bowel and bladder problems. My doctor ran another blood test and it showed twice a very high fatty acid level or VLCFA. But DNA test did not show ALD. My doctor started me on Zanaflex for the leg muscle problems when she thought I had ALD.
Avatar n tn Hi there. Ocular MG is a disease of the neuromuscular junction resulting in muscle weakness and fatigability. This is an autoimmune disease where anomalous antibodies are produced against the acetylcholine receptors in voluntary muscles. The most common presentation is double vision and eyelid drooping or ptosis wherea the pupil is spared. Diplopia is seen when MG affects a single extraocular muscle in one eye, limiting eye movement and leading to double vision.
Avatar n tn At the time I was on 30 mg of control release morphine 3x a day, 150mg of Lyrica 2x a day, 800mg of Metaxalone (muscle relaxer) 3x a day, 225mg of Effexor 1x a day and 40 mg of Desipramine (anti-depressant, for nerve pain) 1x a day. I immediately contacted my pain mgmt dr. to talk about what to do. I was panicking! What have these medications done to my unborn baby??? I weened myself off the desipramine within a week. I dropped down to taking the morphine 2x a day.
Avatar f tn I have a decent but needy job so I need to do this around work. I have a bunch of Xanax and metaxalone (not sure if the muscle relaxers will help) but would love any additional suggestions that would help make this easier whilst holding down a full time job. Any ideas are welcome, seriously, just need some help here. Already feel like an idiot for getting this bad so don't want to go to my friends and my family are in another country.
Avatar m tn Furosemide 40 mg and spironolactone 25 mg. Should I take both at once or take both the same day at different times or discontinue one? Did anyone can share your experience?
Avatar f tn Another conversion chart says that 60 mg of Armour is equivalent of 75 mcg of T4. For the latter, that would have been 120 mg of Armour instead of 90. So, just be aware that you most likely will need an increase, for that reason as well continuing to have symptoms. Another couple of things to consider is that any med with T3 in it is best taken by splitting the dose in half and taking 1/2 in the morning and half in the afternoon.
Avatar n tn The doctor just started my Mom on Zyprexa 5 MG today, she has Alzheimers and is taking Tradazone and Buspirone . My hubby is getting inpatient with me and I feel we are on the verge of ssplitting up agaim. I try and get something done around the house, may not be much but I at least try. He is expecting me to just get up and do everything like I did before.

Avatar f tn I have been on Topamax for 2 1/2 years and it doesnt seem to be working anymore. I went to a neurologist and he raised my dose from 100 mg to 125 mg about 3 wks ago. The headaches are still there...everyday, some stronger than others, but EVERYDAY. I also take 450mg wellbutrin. I dont know if I should call the Dr and ask him if I should start taking 150mg or does anyone think its too early to say (3 wks) I take relpax when they get real bad and that works great, but 4 hrs later...
Avatar f tn Hi E, Look just did some research, google this, Medroxyprogesterone 2.5 mg for menopause age 63, you may find the answer that your looking for, on the subject of breast cancer, on the first answer, click on were is says breast cancer.
4705307 tn?1447970322 More so than taking hydrocodone 5-325 or tramadol 50 mg. Neither of which I liked to take. I am a recovering addict and scared to death of opiates. Besides my knees and back and hands don't hurt as much. Those other meds, 2xs a day didn't touch I haven't had to ***** today, and I am getting my focus back.
3211873 tn?1345809345 Do you already have a heart condition? If not, you really have no worries. I don't think most doctors even realize this, but my psychiatrist told me the last time I saw her that people on Celexa are supposed to have their potassium levels checked and an EKG done annually. She said the odds of them affecting a "normal" person are quite slim, but since I already have a rapid heartbeat, she didn't want me going on the Celexa (I would have been on 60 mg, though).
225237 tn?1333138999 I am looking for some help! I was given Topamax 25 mg 1xday @ bedtime for weight loss.....could anyone let me kno about side effects or personal experiences?!?! I appreciate any help!
