X-ray revealed nothing, and I have been through chiropractic and physical therapy with marginal relief at best ( ~ 24 hours.) medications used include metaxalone, valium and ibuprofen. stiffness has remained constant, w/ a reduced ROM when flexing my neck laterally. I also occasionally experience shooting pain up the left side of my neck when i rotate my head in that direction. Neck remains inflamed and "cracks" often.

I was told the deep hip pain is caused by a deep spasm so close to the bone that you cannot see, but it is a spasm. Forget the technical name. Metaxalone was prescribed for me and it helps about 80% of the pain. I hope I answered your question, feel free to ping me if you have any more. Neither Skelaxin (metaxalone) nor Celebrex (celecoxib) cause dependence. Your body will not crave either medication. You will not develop tolerance to either medication, nor will you suffer withdrawal symptoms in their absence. The usual dose of Skelaxin is 800mg every 6 to 8 hours (three or four times a day). Do not exceed the maximum daily dose, and don't mix Skelaxin with alcohol, barbiturates, or other CNS depressants.

i have been told that there is an injection you can have between certain ages to provent ovarian cancer?

I just took my menopur injection and 1/2 of it leaked out i did not have the needle screwed on good and didnt know it till i was injecting it and it started to drip on my leg.What should i do? Do i need to call the RE? I have appointment in the morning for bw/us this day 8 of stims .I am really worried.

I take my chemo treatment on Friday morning and do not get the Neulasta injection until Mon. morning. Is there a problem by waiting this long for the injection?

Today I went to the hospital to injection, I found there are some blood in the nurse's gloves (may be the last one's) and then she friction my vein with fingers, if If my arm have other people's blood and then injected into my vein, I have a risk? Please consider me, I need a responsible answer.

I went to the doctors friday past to get tetanus shot the lady who was in before me was getting blood drawn when the nurse was givin me my injection she wasnt wearing gloves nor did she wipe my arm with alcohol or wash her hands if the lady before me had hiv and the nurse didnt wash hands after drawnig blood is there a risk to me her hands looked clean but she did touch serval surfaces and door knob before giving me the injection iam I at risk from this .

I just got switched to metaxalone 800mg and i cant say if they are better or worse than flexeril as they dont seem to affect me either. I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will.

The old standy from Flexeral causes so much sleepiness. One of the better ones that wont make you as sleepy is Metaxalone.

I have a decent but needy job so I need to do this around work. I have a bunch of Xanax and metaxalone (not sure if the muscle relaxers will help) but would love any additional suggestions that would help make this easier whilst holding down a full time job. Any ideas are welcome, seriously, just need some help here. Already feel like an idiot for getting this bad so don't want to go to my friends and my family are in another country.

Is anyone else experiencing this. I think I really need some more injection sites to use besides the abdomen and the upper legs.

Did you have more muscle cramps or spasms in your legs though from the injection area? I know an hour after my injection my muscles in my whole body twitch and spaz .

I'M currently 30 wks with baby #5 ,came to the lab to get blood work (regular stuff) and to do my glucose tolerance test. The lab tech was telling me y doctor ordered me to have the rhogam injection I was confused because A) the doctor didn't explain it to me B) Ive never had to have this for any other pregnancy.

I started my welly injections at 16 weeks, and will have them til 36 weeks. Don't be nervous, I don't really feel them, no side effects for me either. Nurse did say some patients do get a rash at injection site. The only thing I'm concerned about is the weekly trip to the clinic exposing me to all the nasty germs there.

So I received my rhigam injection a couple he's ago. I knew something didn't feel right when I was getting it but I said nothing. Now I am 99% sure that it was accidentally administered under my skin instead of in my vein. Its swollen , bruised and tender to touch. Looks like there's fluid under there. I'm 27+5 today and I had my glucose test this morning. I got the results and everything is fine but because I have a negative blood type, I have to go back tomorrow to get a RhoGAM injection. I asked the nurse who called me what it was for and she was confused why it hadn't already been explained to me from the beginning. Can someone please tell me a little more about it?

They usually give you one early in pregnancy then again at 20 somthing weeks and depending on what blood type baby is your more likely to get another one after pregnancy.

Hi ladies. I'm 18weeks and 3 days. And have week told I will need my rubella injection after birth and I am to stay away from anyone poorly or rash etc and if I turn I'll I should make midwife doctor aware. I've caught a awful cold of hubby and finding myself short of breath? Do you think I should tell them or is it nothing to be concerned about.
